Most likely needs a new fan motor ,this is easly removed on the passenger side ,UK RHD model ,,,LHD then remove the throttle control ...Yes its a bit fiddly laying on your back but quite feasable ,three screws hold it in ,then twist as you try to pull it out ,RHD easiier to do by the way .

SOURCE: peugeot 307 heater blower fault

Hi
i just had the same fault, but being in the trade it is normally only 1 of 2 problems.
the heater resitor packing up or the wiring loom.
both can be bought through peugeot.
try the heater resistor first (£40). to find it undo 7 star screws to remove glove box then look in behind centre conlsole near back of radio diconnect the black plug with a red and black cable. twist back of fan motor clockwise and remove fan(it's a bit of a tight squeeze to remove),then put your hand inside the hole you just made till you feel the flat resistor turn this anti-clockwise and disconnect green plug then reassemble as removed,

if this does not fix it then it is the loom, to remove this it is best to follow the wires from the back of fan motor up to where i think if i remember lead to 2 other plugs 1 green and 1 black on the way to another green plug up behind the drivers foot well, then thread the new loom back the same way.

on the 405 i think the resistor is in behind the fan motor accessed throgh the driver side footwell again you need to first take out the fan motor normally twisted anti-clockwise. it is un common for 405 to burn out heat resistors it is normally down to a wire fault.

hope this helps

SOURCE: "when do i change the cam belt on a peugeot 307 sw diesel"

usually you should do it for peugeot diesel at 122000 miles along with water pump and the tensioner roller that runs under the cambelt too. But to be on the safe side do it at 100000 and save the fortune.
It took me (DIY job) about 6-8 hours as i wanted to save 450 pounds.

Elecrical faults 307 glow plugs and heater switch have no power

Peugeot has got a BSI unit and are known to sometimes cause problems. It is normally situated inside the passenger compartment under the dashboard. However, it is not a unit which can be serviced. If a fuse is blown or not making contact, one can be lucky to get it working again. I suspect a bad earth connection. Google "Peugeot Service Box". It is a service offered to Peugeot and Citroen owners, where the necessary info may be obtained.

The insider front fan of my Peugeot 307 is keep working after I switch off the car!!! My battery is not new, could this be the reason? and if not, what is the reason for that, and how to solve it?

If your engine is hot, the fan will keep running until the engine is down to the right temperature. It is normal, not a problem.

If your engine keeps getting too hot too often, the cooling system needs checking.

The evaporator drain tube is clogged under the car. The water is supposed to drain out of the tube, but is backing up in the heater box.
