My 2009 Hyundai Getz is having a problem. The remote to open and close the doors is turning itself off and on intermittently without me touching the button. I installed a new battery about 3 weeks ago in the remote, so can't be that. Thanks
Its old..they hav rplacements at autopart
Cut you losses and but a new plastic end from china and refit your innerds into it ,dont forget the chip ?

it may be worth while changing the battery in the remote as it takes more power to send the frequency to disarm than to illuminate the l.e.d.

2003-04 Mazda 6 REMOTE PROGRAMMING
Step 1: Open drivers door and leave open.
Step 2: Lock and unlock the driver’s door using the power door lock switch on the door.
Step 3: Insert key into the ignition.
Step 4: Turn key to on position and return to off position. (IMPORTANT - use ON position NOT ACC position). Do this 3 times within 10 seconds. Leave key in the ignition.
Step 5: Open and close the driver’s door 3 times. (Door should be left open after this step).
Step 6: ECU should respond by locking and unlocking the doors.
Step 7: Press any button on remote #1 twice. ECU responds by locking and unlocking the car doors.
Step 8: Press any button on remote #2 (etc.) twice. Each time the ECU will respond by locking & unlocking the doors.
Step 9: Remove the key from the ignition and the ECU will respond a final time with a series of door locks and unlocks. You're done!

You must reset your remote control in order for the lock/unlock to work properly.
To reset remote you would:
1)Insert Key in Ignition Turn to Position 1(Don't Start the Engine) for about 5 seconds
2)Turn Key Off and HOLD the LOCK button on Remote while pressing the UNLOCK 3 TIMES
3)Release both lock and unlock buttons you are holding
4)All doors should automatically unlock
And exit the door and lock with the Remote.
