Remove the arm rest lid from a 2008 titan - Titan Nissan Cars & Trucks

Remove arm rest, door handle, pry from the panel snaps and pull up and out.

Most likely 3 screws hold the armrest lid on.Towards the back.

There is a valet switch in he center console and make sure it is switched on so it will open. Does it open from trunk switch on the trunk or from the manual key cylindr in the trunk deck lid? If it does not work from the manual key release on the deck lid then the lock in the trunk is faulty and will need to be drilled and removed unless your a lucky one and have the ski boot opening in the center of backseat fold down arm rest ? If there is a opening then use a hanger and grab the emergency release handle at the right rear of the trunk deck lid underneath, it is glow in the dark colored.

If you are taking on such a huge job as a head gasket on a Titan, why oh why didn't you MARK EVERYTHING.

I would reglue it by realigning the increased arm rest and then add some really small rivets or Kelly screws

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then remove the bolts securing the mirror to the door

You'll need to lower the window a bit so you can see the arm the window rests on and you just need to remove the clips / bolts holding the arm to the window. to get the new window in, you'll have to slide it through the top ****

You'll need to remove your door panel (screws are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door) and then remove the cover that is right above the panel adjacent to the mirror. remove the bolts holding the mirror down and reverse to put it back together
