use thread lock on the threads and tighten until it stops, then a little more. been doing it that way for years and hundreds of cars with no problem. you will have to get the car aligned after the work is done. to get it close. measure the distance from inside the nut to the end of the thread. and set the new part to the same distance. it will be very close. best of luck.

You need to buy the manual, because you also need to know the order in which to torque them.

usually you start at the middle and circle outward.
But they can differ. Some cars you always need to put in new head bolts. Others are done in several stages. This is too critical to take chances on.
If you really can't afford $19 for a manual, go to the library and xerox the pages.
