sounds like a wiring issue. I'd start by checking the wires around the radio and see if they are chaffed or broken.

SOURCE: 1997 Ford Explorer Power Seat Wiring

There are several options. It all depends on how bad you want the leather seats. You could disassemble the seats and transfer the upholstery from one seat to the other, or you could transfer the motor mechanisms from one seat to the other. The leather seats are most likely equipped with seat heater elements...there is no way you are going to get them to work without redesigning half of the vehicle, so you can either leave the heating elements out when you transfer the upholstery or just leave their respective connectors disconnected.

How do I remove console on 2003 ford explorer XLT...loosened all screws but won't come out

Not sure if you meant the dash area or center console area, but these videos may help. The first one is for the dash console area to remove the instrument cluster:

This one is for the blend door actuator, but shows how to remove the center console:

Auto lights, drivers seat, heater and message center all not working. Fuse is fine. What else? 2001 explorer xlt. Help please.p

With all that is wrong, you may find it best to take it to an ASE certified mechanic so they can put the computer to your cars computer and see what is causing so many problems at one time.

1995 ford explorer front passenger power seat not working

All of these items are feed by fuse 5 (30amp) in the under hood fuse box. If this fuse is checking good then go to the power seat switch and check the black/white wire there for power.

This wire leaves the fuse and goes thru the center connector of the 3 connectors on the firewall to the left fo the brake booster. It then goes thru another connector located to the left of the steering column under the dash.

Here is a copy of the wiring schematic that may help you....

The only other thing I know to tell you if you can not find that connector by the picture of the location and the picture of the connector is get you a 30 amp fuse holder and fuse and wire it to the black/White wire at the seat switch. That should get them working. This and other details could be find in the Ford Explorer Service Manual (I have the same year and model XLT).

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using FixYa, have a nice day.

2004 Ford Explorer XLT.....The radio and gas gauge quit

The check engine light will represent fault codes that the computer is sensing. Have a mechanic, or go to your local auto parts superstore and have them scan for the fault codes. This will at least give you an idea about some of your problems.
