95 camaro wont start, fuel pressure is good,theft light off,will run on spray.. bad fuel in injecters?? help.

what does getting mean? which engine, 4Liter or 5.2 or what?
spark at all cylinders is getting and timed right?
runs on test fuel so sparks good, that means fuel is bad
or flooding or too little fuel.
code 12 cranking for 5 seconds, means sensors are ok.
why replace parts that make spark when sparks good, it run on test fuel, why worry spark.? and not just fueling.?

now lets do fuel, step one is fuel pressure, not squirt tests.or dribble test. a real tool called,a fuel pressure gauge that works, and nothing else, (unless rail is dry and now we know its not)

if all spark plug tips are dry, are they?
then its not injecting, (the ECU can cut injection for 2 reasons) ask
or there is no real pressure.
so we open the FSM and read page FUELING
49psi is idle pressure, (more cranking with so little vacuum)

I think I would be looking at the crank angle sensor and/or the cam sensors on this vehicle.It seems to me the engine isn't getting the signal to fire up.What happens when you squirt some fuel into the combustion chamber ? If it fires up I would be looking at cleaning the injectors.If it doesn't fire up What's the pressure on the fuel rail. does it have a buy pass pressure valve on the rail.Some suggestions good luck

With anoid light (special light for testing) check injector connector if the anoid light blink has you crank engine, if yes check fuel pressure.

Hi Jonathan, Make sure you have injection as well as fuel in the rail. Sometimes the anti theft unit will cut the injection and therefore the vehicle cannot start. have the vehicle scanned and then rectify what ever defects and faults show up. Another reason for nil injection could be a defective cam or crank sensor. Sometime removing and cleaning them will work. Regards John

Check fuses there is a crank fuse I believe it is under the hood if it is bad engine will crank but wont start

First off, your Z28 does not have a carburetor. They haven't put carburetors on Camaros since 1984. Your Camaro is fuel injected and has a throttle body. You are having a fuel issue. You fuel pump is probably bad and or fuel filter is clogged. I am assuming you are not a mechanic so I would recommend taking this to your local repair shop to be fixed. They will have to drop the tank to get to the pump. You should also have your injuectors cleaned while you are at it.

Hi this sound like fuel delivery problems, you should start by checking fuel pressure,ckeck for cloged injection sistem., if nothing changes check tps,(trotlle position sensor,,, I hope this will help you ,good luck.......
