Do a 2010 Jeep Liberty Have a Automatic transmission dip stick?

With automatic tranny, you should have the dipstick tube and it is caped. Note the dipstick in the picture. 9336 . Did you read your owners manual? Make sure the dipstick will work with your vehicle. You don't leave the dip stick in. Hopefully the dip stick comes with instructions. Your owners manual says to check automatic tranny fluid, engine running. Hope info helps.

The automatic transmission dip stick and filler tube have been removed from many later model auto transmissions now so you cannot check fluid levels yourself or add fluid easily to these units.

I assume you have the V6 engine and if you check the engine bay you will find no transmission dip stick and filler tube there. In these cases you have to add fluid by pumping fluid in after removing a filler plug on the case of the transmission from under the vehicle and it needs to be perfectly level when this is done.. There is a specific procedure for this which varies from unit to unit because you need to ensure the transmission is not over filled.

Unless you know what you are doing and use the correct filling procedure this is not a do it yourself task and it is best done with the car perfectly level up on a workshop lift/hoist.

on any vehicle with an automatic transmission, there are two dip sticks. One to measure oil level, and the other transmission fluid level( typically labled 'check with engine running in park'). To add transmission fluid requires a funnel to introduce fluid via the dip-stick tube.

If you have a manual transmission, then you don't need transmission fluid, you need gear oil, which can be measured at the transmission and added at the same port.

run the vehicle until the engine temp guage is in the yellow .
with the engine running, open the hood and pull the transmission dip stick.
read the stick and replace fluid that has been lost , or whatever...So long as the engine is warm (hot) the reading should be accurate on the dipstick.

No dipstick. You have to pump it in from the bottom.A trans shop will be the best place to have it checked.

If you have a tranny dipstick, then you would need a long tranny type funnel and fill there.
If you do not have a dip stick, then you would have to raise the vehicle, and look at the tranny. There will be a higher and a lower plug on it. Remove the higher plug and stick your finger in the hole. If you feel fluid, then it is full.

Check the Level of the transmission fluid by pulling the Transmission dip stick. The colour of the dip stick is most likely red in colour and you need to check it with the car's engine running and hot. Pull the dip stick out clean it off and check it again. always check the second reading. 
To fill the transmission, you need to fill it through the Transmission dip stick tube. Yes your going to need a thin funnel and good luck. Do not over fill the transmission. over filling will cause damage to the transmission. 
Best thing is, if you have not done a transmission oil and filter change. Have it done at a Transmission shop and you'll know that the transmission level is fine and have them show you have to check and fill the Transmission. As time goes by and mileage get's high, the fluid will get contaminated and the filter plugged up which would in turn cause a transmission failure.
