Need to know if my vehicle has a dip stick to check the automatic transmission fluid level?
In the usa? KK jeep?
did you read the operators guide first. it does not mention that.
why,
its gone.
answered now 100s of times.
the FSM (KK) Factory service manual) is where this IS NOW.
this is to keep people from damaging the box.
using wrong fluid
or overfilling it
or not reading how to do it correctly. (its not done like engine dip)
2008 was the change, 2007 both boxs had DIP.stick.
Alot of the newer vehicles have maintenance free transmisions so they dont have dip sticks. And if it is maintenance free it will tell you under the hood.

Go underneath and look at tranny, There will be an upper filler plug and a lower drain plug. You can get top and hose for your gear oil / tranny fluid and fill. The level of the fluid should be exactly at bottom of hole
