Hood release inside car isn't working

yes actually, you might need to lay on your back with a pair of pliers though, when you pull on the hood-release handle under the dashboard, you will see a wire cable behind the plastic handle, grip that wire with the pliers and pull till you hear the hood pop, then adjust the cable from under the hood to remain shorter.(it's stretched a bit over time is all)

Relase lock on hood 2003 sable

Happens all the time. The easiest way is to have someone pry it up for you while you pull the handle. Be gentle don't scratch the paint. Flat head screwdriver wrapped in a rag works best.

The interior hood release isnt working is there a way to relase the hood manually from outside the truck on a 2010 toyota tundra

try this, have another person push down on the hood in the front of your truck, while they apply downward pressure, pull hood release out, keep the hood release pressure pulled out, tell the other person to let up on hood, then release the pressure you have on the hood release handle and hood should pop up.if this does'nt work, you have a broken hood release cable.that means you'll have to get on the ground under front of truck and reach up to the hood release cable with pliers and pull the cable release manually.good luck hope this helps and thank you for choosing fixya.com

The hood latch will not realese on my 06 hyundai sonata

the cable is probably pinched or ceased in its cover, you will probably have to replace the cable, as to getting the hood open, you can try reaching up from under the car and pulling on the cable right at the latch, but you should probably get a mechanic to do it because if they break anything that isnt broke, its on them to replace it.

I have a 94 buick century, the hood relase is not broken but it does release the hood. is there a way to get the hood opened.

have someone pull the release while you push down/lift up on the hood. If you get it open , put a bit of grease on the latch mechanism , and check the allignment of the pin that is mounted on the hood.
