SOURCE: 1999 saturn SL 1, doesn't start, no interior lights, no clock, if you wiggle wires next to gas pedal it will work, what part do i need to replace?

If you are talking about the wires that run to the backside of the fuse block than I would bet that one of them is burnt up. Pretty common for Saturn. If you remove the block connectors, There are two and they are bolted to the backside of the fuseblock, and inspect the pins and wiring you will probably find a burnt pin and terminal. The fuseblock is usually replaced and a block connector repair kit is installed. Both use to be available from saturn, they may still be available through GM. You may have to get one from a salvage yard.

1999 saturn sl1 won't start, clock doesn't light up, no door chime, no radio, what could be the cause?

Sounds like a blown fuse or bad connection. Part of the fuse box may not have power from the key switch.

How do I disconnect the chime from automatic door .Had to cut cable as it jammed . Took out fuse but radio and clock now do not work .Can I disconnect wire from chimes .I knoe it comes from speakers .

try this
disconnect battery
undo the fuse box and look at the wires behind that fuse you pulled

check that only radio and clock wiring are fitted there

the chime may its own power source

i could be wrong
i thought chime was separate to sound system speakers
and comes from a small but loud sound device on the instrument panel circuit board ..much like a computer

The rear windows in my 1999 Saturn SL1 stopped working last summer. Today I have taken the doors apart to try to fix them but cannot find the circuit breaker for the window motor. The 2 front windows...

If you have a door window that works, then the problem with the other doors is in the motor or wiring to that motor. There is only one circuit breaker and one relay to all the door windows.

Starter relay

Solution #2 by dr4saturns was on the money. The bundle of wires was easy to get to and u can see where the wires connect (w/ flashlight). I wiggled the wires and .. Bam! Car started right up. I've been searching the internet (a lot!) and have seen many people with this same problem .. good battery, starter is good, dash lights work, headlights work but no dim when trying to start. No dome lights, no radio, no door chime, no door locks. Now I just need to find a fuse box but i'm not sure it's within my scope to replace, seems a bit complicated for a shadetree mechanic. Thanks dr4saturns!
