Cleaned the battery cables, checked battery power, and replaced the crank relay
Possible bad contacts on the ignition switch located on the side of the steering column under the dash.
May be the security system. Small wires in the key way may be wearing and preventing communication with the resister/transducer in the key. How long are you waiting to restart? I would have it checked out before it leaves you stranded somewhere you rather not want to be.
Can also be caused by corrosion of the battery terminals either at the battery or the other end of these cables at their mounting points.
