Unfortunately, Saturn's are drain and fill only, if you have a leak repair it right away because if it gets overfilled or underfilled it can cause extensive damage to transmission. Replace the transmission oil filter too. Most stores where you buy your parts from will have the correct fluid type needed and the correct capacity.

SOURCE: I have a saturn vue

You don't have to go to dealer. My local garage changed fluid and filter , added Lucas additive for half the cost of dealer. Change at 50,000 mi.

SOURCE: i can't add transmission fluid to my 2004 saturn vue

I think your transmission is a 4T45E which does not have a typical dipstick. Check underneath the vehicle on the transmission case above the oil pan on the passenger side of the vehicle and you will see a pipe thread plug. The transmission must be at operating temperature on a level surface and the engine running, you then remove the plug and add new fluid in the fill hole until it runs out the removed plug. You will obviously need a catch basin and do not re-insert plug until fluid has stopped overflowing. Do not turn off the engine during the process.

If you have no leaks dont worry about it. Just get it serviced if its time. Alot of cars are this way now. You need to be under the car to drain and fill. My BMW is this way

I cant find the dip stick for my 2003 v6 saturn vue. Where is it?

this is a so called "sealed transmission" what does this mean?, there is no dip stick, the fluid level is checked by removing a plug on the tranmission case.

Ware is transmision dip stick on a 02 saturn vue awd auto

Good Evening, looking for the dipstick on a vue is a daunting task unless you do a little digging. If you get in front of your vue right in front of the saturn badge, now look in on the engine and you will see your aluminum intake look down between your fan and the engine now go to the right some at the transmission you will see it, there is a spring steel clip that holds it down. You should be able to find it. I hope this helps and if you have any questions please feel free to ask.

I have a saturn vue automatic 2004 AWD car and need to check the transmission fluid and cannot find the dip stick anywhere. Do you know where it is?

Unfortunately, There is no Dipstick for the Tranny. Most all of the Foriegn Imports are going with no Dipstick now so that you will have no choice but take it in for Service.
