The starter is located on the passenger side where the engine mates with the transmission. It's held on by two bolts and there are wire harness that need to be disconnected and are live so you need to disconnect the battery ground first. Good luck and hope this helps. It's probably a bad solenoid. If you bought it online it's common, however,check the signal wire w/ a test light, it's the smaller of the wires that goes to your solenoid. Have someone turn the key to start if the test light comes on your ignition is good to the starter. If not check the starter relay if it's good than it's the Solenoid. MAKE SURE THE VEHICLE IS IN NEUTRAL OR PARK WITH EMERG. BRAKE ENGAGED BEFORE YOU GET UNDER THE CAR.
