I've replaced the blower/wheel. New blower motor resistor. I thought it was the motor since when I hooked up 12V to the old one i got nothing. When I do the same to the new motor it spins. Also I have 12V at the wires (2) grn and blk--- connecting into the blower motor per voltmeter(analog). Any idea why I might show 12V and get no action in motor. How often does the actual switch go out. 10 amp fuse for blower new. Any ideas??
SOURCE: radiator cooling fan 30 amp. fuse keep blowing
The fan may run with jumper wires but if it''s blowing the 30 Amp Maxifuse it's needs a new or used fan motor. It's pulling too many amps.I have almost never seen a fan relay concern.Only other thing you may check is the wiring down near the fan shoud I have seen the 2 wires get loose from the conduit & melt onto exhaust manifold.Hope tHis Helps

Sounds like you need a light tester. I would guess that at least 8 of the wires are speaker + & - the others will be Main power and earth Possibly electric ariel, Memory store and a wire for the anti theft circuit. Assuming the stereo is factory. Any Audio shop can perform a test to clarify the purpose of the wires Wouldnt worry about the blank its probably a position for a newer or different model to yours. if the resistor card is bad you will only have setting 4 high on the blower and no other speeds, the resistor card is under the passenger side glove box by the center console way up there, i think its a phillips head,if i remeber right not too hard to get to,,, if no high speed then the fan motor is bad, thats under the wiper cowl under the hood,u gotta remove the wiper cowl to replace it
SOURCE: 1995 Saturn SL2 DOHC motor No start fuel injector issue.
i would have to say first check the fuel injectors fuse in the under hood fuse block if blown replace it,sometimes the fuel injector harness rubs thru anywhere from where the harness comes thru the firewall all the way up to the injectors,,,if fuse is good and no bare wires to injectors, check the wires to the ignition module,,,,and if all checks ok,i would replce the ignition module,,you could have spark from it but it could not be sending the signal back to the pcm to fire the injectors,,,and if all that fails try a pcm,but i think youll find it before that,,i seen this 3 times and each time it was a wire rubbed thru near the fuel rail and it grounds out and blows the injector fuse,
hope this helped
