SOURCE: LOUD BUZZING SOUND FROM MY REAR DOORS WHEN LOCKING
the lock or mechanisim is stiff, get some wd40 and spray all around the lock and around the mechanism dont be shy with it.
If the problem persists then the motor for the central locking is about to go, this will need to be replaced as they rarely are fixable.
Hope this helps

that is the auto lock motor, it is going bad and needs to be serviced.

Question is whether the cable/unlatch device is operating, or if the spring that pushes the fuel door open is out-of-position or broken. Have someone else operate the button while you have a fingernail or non-scratching inplement ready to gently pry the door open. If the door does not open, there may be a problem with the cable/unlatch device. If you can get the door to open by hand when the button is operated, you may have a broken or displaced sping, which will be apparent once the door is open. I fixed this issue on our '92 Sidekick by installing a small spring from an old flashlight, set up so as to push gently on the door near the hinge point, while wrapped around the original support bracket. Best luck!

it could be a lifter or a sticky injector I would say to see your kia dealer for issues or recalls they are good about following thru with issues

The power locks on my 2015 Kia Sorento won't lock. I can hear a clicking sound while driving, as though it is trying to lock but is not doing anything at all. What are the power locks linked to?
Also all of my steering wheel controls stopped working ... Fuse issue or something bigger than that?
