Hello,you need to remove your rear seat,,look for your your headrest valve ,there is a lock pin with tension clip in headrest rod ,remove the pin,try to remove your headrest slowly,ty

I think there is a sensor in the shifter to make sure the car is only started when in park or neutral. It will stop the car from starting in gear. That sensor sounds broken to me.

Alot of cars are interchangable. You can call any Automoble Junk yard in your area and they will tell you the year and models that will interchange.

Go to your local library and ask them if they have a service manuel for your particular car if they dont have they can get through inner library loan. When ever I need to work on a car in which I have never worked the first place I go is our library. I hope this helps

Try looking on the passenger side foot well. On my 85 380 there is a small cutout on the right side panel that hides the fuse block.

Look the fuses over carefully as they can have hairline cracks that don't show up from a distance.
