My key is stuck in ignition switch and wont turn at all on my 04 honda odyssey.please help!!!!!

It can be faulty ignition lock cylinder.I suggest to wiggle the steering wheel a bit and see if the key gets released out.If that is not helping then first turn steering wheel to right and try removing the key,or next turn steering wheel to left and see if you can remove the key.

Spray wd-40 in the ignition key hole and let it remain there for few minutes,after that once again try to remove the key and see if that helps.

But if that is not helping then ignition lock cylinder has to be removed out and key has to be manually removed.

Ignition cylinder is damaged.

Does this car have an automatic transmission. If so does the shifter have a button on the side of the handle. if it doe's there is a switch inside that maybe stuck and will need to be fixed or replaced. It is this switch that is causing the key to be stuck.

This happened to me two weeks ago in my 2006 Ford Fusion

PUT THE RIGHT KEY IN THE IGNITION SWITCH TURN IGNITION SWITCH TO ON POSITION UNTIL IMMOBILIZER WARNING LAMP ILLUMINATES FOR FEW SECONDS.KEY HAS RESET.IF IMMOBILIZER WARNING LAMP FLASHES RAPIDLY KEY DID NOT RESET.TRY TURN SWITCH ON WITH KEY UNTIL IMMOBILIZER LIGHT ILLUMINATES FEW SECONDS TURN OFF YOU READY TO GO GO GO.IF CANT RESET HONDA DEALERSHIP HAS TO USE DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT TO RESET KEYS TO IMMOBILIZER MODULE.

just go and get a new odyssey, that will solve all ur problems.

Strip the ignition switch down.

ROCK YOUR STEERING WHEEL FROM SIDE TO SIDE WHILE TURNING KEY FROM SIDE TO SIDE.

try checking the main relay under the dash

sounds like a bad ignition switch this will cause this problem

We found our solution...a new ignition. :-( One day the key stuck in the ignition and refused to be removed! It cost us around $350.00 to have a new ignition installed. No way around it.
