remember the switch only gets power for 1 second when u turn the key on, the common problem is the ignition starter switch comes apart, it is located at top of the steering column near the bottom, drop the column down (2 nuts) and inspect the switch for separation.

check the pulse on the injector wire with a noid lite or a meter. If no flash then you most likely need a computer. Its called a quad driver in the PCM thats fried. You may have a shorted component that caused it to fail.
Since you say it will run if you add fuel manually I don't suspect the crank sensor because you have spark.

Yes - sounds like a Pump fuse, relay, or a pump...When you cycle the key (off-on-start-on) do you hear the pump running?
The fuel pump fuse may be under the hood with the other engine fuses - and it well may not be -(there is an accessory fuse box that has all the fuses for the inside accessories in it - located in the passenger compartment somewhere)- also check the kick panels at the drivers left foot and the passengers right foot -(If they pop off easily - The fuse box plastic cover will pop off easily, not attached with screws - so if you see screws or nuts, it won't be there) Look up under the dash on the drivers side, and also lastly check in the glove box- If you cannot find it, I'd see if I could find a Mazda "lovers" web-site - Often they post what is called "component locator" information, that would tell you exactally where it is (Normally you have to pay for access to that information - gotta love the web), or you may be able to locate a electronic owners manual there as well which will definitely tell you ...Best of luck and hope that helps some....

This code is associated with the EVAP system which includes, but not limited to gas cap, fuel lines, carbon canister, purge valves. The EVAP system is supposed to prevent fuel vapors from escaping the fuel system
If you have this code, one of the following may have happened:
Gas cap not installed properly or faulty gas cap
Purge solenoid has failed
Canister is plugged and not working properly
This code can be tricky to resolve, but try some of these:
Remove and reinstall the gas cap and or replace the gas cap and clear the code and see if it comes back
Inspect the the hoses, and tubes for any sign of a hole or cut
Inspect for damage or disconnected hoses around the purge solenoid
Check and or replace the sensor
Check and or replace the purge valve
