I belive its ignition switch on my chevy caprice that needs to be replaced it has new battery and alternator I still get power car just wont start. The Starter has also been replaced so I really dought its that. I place key in ignition but and attempt to start but just wont kick over
There are large fuses in the relay box it could be one of these located in the engine compartment
If the car wont start it can also be the ignition pick up coil. Its located in the distributer. U would have to pull the distributor out and take it apart becouse its in a brelass housing thats only accessable when you open it up. The ignition pick up coil is about 3 inches and it might be the original and if wires are cracked or broken the spark signal is weak and will prevent the car from starting.
