My car over heated over the weekend and my radiator is not holding water and anti freeze has leeked out. There is not a leek in the radiator or in the upper and lower hoses coming from the radiator. And the leek does not appear to be coming from the side of the car where the water pump is. There is antifreeze standing in places around the upper part of the engine. Any ideas what is causing this? Thanks for your help

Sounds like the waters not flowing correctly could be thermostat or other blockage. Are radiator fans working when vehicle is at operating temperature?Generaly this is a thermostat fault or faulty temperature sensor.

Check the spark plug wells for water. Remove the silver colored cover and remove plug wires to see.

did you check the cooling fan its work ? did you bleed the colling sistem & to add a new antifreeze maybe you have a problem in the temp sensor o wires of the sistem

replace water pump; sounds like it's coming from the weep hole(that's what it's called), because it starts like tears, and then comes the floodgates. your're gonna need a w pump.

If it's overheating it will lose antifreeze.I would change the thermostat first and see it it solves the overheating problem if not then worry about the water pump. Thermostats are only $7-10.
