Oil capacity Something this simple is no longer easy to find because they want you to come to the dealer for an oil change. I've looked through the whole manual and everywhere online and I can't find the oil capacity for a 2005 Saturn Vue 4 cylinder. What a world.

4 quarts if you want to make sure put 3 1/2 quarts first then check the oil level with the dipstick. If still a little low then add the rest. It's 4 quarts though for a 2.2 l size engine.

Engine oil capacity for a 1998 mitsubishi triton perol v6 3000 4x4

Start with 3 quarts, run the engine for 3-4 minutes, then shut it off and let it cool.
Then check it again, and add oil in 1/2 quart increments until the dipstick shows full.
Or, look in the owner's manual!
Or call a Mitsubishi dealer, or ask any oil change service business.
God bless your efforts.

Oil capacity

This is something you can find capacities for in your manual. If I were to guess based on this being a 4 cyl. you will need 4 or 5 quarts.

I now have 98,000 miles on my car. How much longer can it last without major repair work?

150,000 miles is usually the mark for a timing chain engine to get the tensioners looked at. Other than that, the only known issues are all recalls or TSB's. The computer failure, which should have been done by now, and the engine belt tensioner going bad prematurely, replaced by a stronger design, and the clock going dim, which is a quick soldiering fix. Corollas are very, very long lasting cars as long as you do regular maintenance, oil changes every 5000 (basically when the light comes on, sooner if older or lots of hard driving), flush brake fluid yearly, coolant as specified, and (if applicable) automatic transmission fluid at the 30,000's, with a screener every other change. 200,000 miles is easy to come by on these cars. Also, don't get the Bendix engine belt. It's rubbish. Dayco or Gatorback will last a lot longer.

I have a huge oil leak in my 98 Toyota Camry It leaks roughly 1 qt of oil for each hour of driving. What would be the cost of repair?

Need to find out where leak is from. Kinda sounds like a crankshaft main seal, front or rear of engine. Front one is pretty easy to change, but rear main seal leak means you have to drop transmission to get to it. But it could be another seal or gasket. Can you tell about where leak is, from oil spills on ground where parked? Look at engine. Is oil seeming to leak from bottom end or upper engine. May need to wipe or clean it off to see where fresh oil leak develops. A mechanic may need to put it on a car lift to pinpoint the leak. Good luck.

Where is the oil filter?

on most vehicles the oil filter is can shaped and mounted on the engine block, and will be found from under neath of the vehicle to change the oil 1 jack the front of the vehicle and secure it on stands 2 place a collection pan under the vehicle (large enough to hold the vehicles oil capacity) 3 remove the plug on the bottom of the oil pan to allow oil to drain 4 use an oil filter wrench to loosen the oil filter (it will contain oil as well) 5 allow several minutes for oil to drain, the longer the better 6 replace the plug 7 pour some oil into the new filter, and oil the rubber gasket on the new filter 8 replace the filter by hand (do not use filter wrench to tighten) 9 tighten the new filter by hand to one full turn after the gasket touches the engine and no tighter 10 refill from the top of the engine to vehicles oil capacity with recommende weigth of oil note. the engines capacity and the engines capacity with filter differ for the filter will hold oil as well 11 lower the vehicle from jack stands change every 3000 miles when driving in town change every 5000 miles when driving on highway

Oil questions for 2003 Audi A6 Quattro

oil type is either 5W-30W or 10W-30W depending how cold your climate is, as far as having the car properly taken care of, the Audi dealer is the best option, they have all the proper tools and service info needed to keep the car in top running condition.
