Changed plugs, air filter, fuel filter. Radiator fan constantly runs 20 seconds after starting and continues until i shut off the car. Removed high fan relay and it stopped, put new relay in and it still ran continuiously. Cut a/c on and the entire engine started bogging down and tried to cut off.(not that i need to use a/c right now but wanted to see what would happen). Service engine light shows P0000. What should I do??
It could be more than one problem.
The cooling fan could be running because the temp sensor is sending the wrong signal to the computer.
The ac compressor or clutch could be bad causing a heavy load on the belt and the engine.
I would unplug the compressor clutch and see if the engine still bogs down with the ac engaged.
If the temperature gage is still reading correct, could the sensor still be bad?
Most cars have a sensor for the computer and one for the temp gauge. Something is grounding the fan relay, either the computer or a short somewhere.
Change your thermostat That should fix your problem, I had the same trouble with a 2007 Saturn Vue

iac valve that controls the idle its on the intake by the throttle body
SOURCE: Car won't start!!
AmyLynn001, 1st thing, let the car sit for a couple hours (because u smell gas, it's definitely flooded). Turn the key to start (do NOT touch the gas pedal!! Cars are designed now to start w/out touching the gas pedal. If u do, u will flood it, and make it even more difficult to start) When u turn the key, only hold it to turn the engine over for no more than 10 seconds. If after the 10 seconds it doesn't start, turn key off, wait about 10 seconds, repeat. (this is to reduce wear and tear on the starter, and to not run the battery down real quick). It sounds like several problems coming together caused this. U state that the car needs a tune up, it's likely the overheating, need of a tune up (car not performing to optimum efficiency) and pushing on the gas pedal, resulting in flooding, all came together to create this no start condition. Eliminate any one (preferably all!) and u should be able to start the car. So, hopefully just letting it sit and not touching the gas pedal while attempting to start will be enough to get u back on the road, then get that tune up soon. Let me know how u make out.

CHECK THE COILS, WE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM SPENT MONEY ON NEW STARTER, BATT, ETC. .....GOOD LUCK

Blair, I would take a look at he TPS (throttle position sensor) located on the throttle body. In other words, it sounds as thought sensor when heated is changing its value to "open" or "shorted".
If the car starts OK when cold, use a hair dryer to heat the TPS when the engine is cold to see if you can duplicate the problem.
Also is the a service engine light on? Codes?
If you have a "digital volt/ohm meter" available you can read the variable resistance of the sensor when the problem occurrs to determine if the sensor is defective.

there will be a fault code in the PCM
