SOURCE: 97 safari fan does not blow

Check to see if is blowing out defrost vents if it is you have a vacuum leek. The tube is hard to get to take of dog house you will see a group of tubes on connected to a clear plastic junction. Once you get the dog house off one of the tubes goes to your manifold vacuum fallow them its very thin and the engine heat makes it brittle and they fall apart . Mine did same 2 shops 500 dollars and they never found or fixed it used window washer tubing to fix 2 years ago still works great,

2002 buick rendezvous awd cooling fans wont turn on and car will start to over heat but if you put on the ac they will come on

First check fuse if thats good then check the thermal fan switch. If the fan switch is corroded its not letting The pcm know the temp.

My gmc 2004 safari blower is not working

passenger side under dash. Your going to find two clear vacuum hoses have been knocked lose "likely by someones feet." simply reconnect the vacuum hoses together . Problem solved.
The blower switch is controlled by a vacuum line..
let me know if this helps....

Temp gauge often reads too hot, engine normal.

It sounds like your cooling fans are not comming on by themselves, but when you turn on the ac it forces them to turn on. Make sure relay is good, then replace coolant temp sensor, this may have failed no telling pcm to turn on cooling fans. Thanks

Blower motor in gmc safari will not activate

I had this problem in a s10 blazer, it ended up being a badly corroded ground wire that actually connected to the blower at one of the mounting screws.
