Hello, Im Ron . Im going to Try to Help you Here. First the Cooling Fan. The Cooling Fan has A Micro-Relay # 37 In the Fuse/Relay Box UNDER_-HOOD IN this type Circuit You Have 3 Step Process to Control the Fan, 1 is the Temperature Sensor, 2 Is the Relay, 3 is the Fan. When Engine Gets Up to Operating temp. 220 Degrees the Sensor Grounds out & signals ECM of Engine
Temp and ECM Tickles the Relay to Turn ON the Fan.
In your Case I would RULE OUT Poor + Terminal Connections @ Battery Accessory Cables. AND Poor - Terminal @ Battery & Or Body Ground
THEN Test the Fan By BYPASSING to it With a Test wire With A + wire to the + side of Fan this is to Make Sure it Works .
Some Techs. Replace Sensor and Relay as A Pair Sense the Two are Fairly Inexpensive, but usualy you can Hear & or Feel the Relay "CLICK" If None Replace it. Shift Lock, Theres A Soliniod at Shifter that Unlocks ti WHEN you Apply the BRAKE, it is Controled By the Brakelight Switch.
I Strongly Suggest That you Check All Harness's From Battery to Interior, & Fuse Box.
I Know this seems Wild But With Limited Resorces & Lititure to work from this Is Where I Go.

there is a fuse in the back of the radio, if it is good then the radio has "burnt up"

Under "How to enter your password"
1. press power button & "Test" appears for 5 seconds, and blinks for 5 minutes. If you turn the power button off then back on again within 5 minutes "Code" blinks on the display.
2. enter password using the numbered buttons - press button 1 once to let it know it's the first digit, then press button 1 again however many times to bring up the code for the first digit. Press button 2 to let it know it's the second digit, then again however many times....etc. To enter default 1111 code, press button 1 twice,, 2 twice, 3 twice then 4 twice.
3. when all four digits entered (default is 1111) press SEL button and display should say "GOOD"
4.You get three goes, if still wrong after third attempt "HOLD" then you have to leave it for an hour

Usually answered in minutes!
Same happened to mine last week. Around the unit still lights up (knobs) but nothing from the unit itself. I want to know if there is anything I can do before I go ordering a whole new system.
Did you guys get answers ? Mine did the same thing
Unlikely its fried as its very uncommon. I would do a check on all fuses just to be safe. If all fuses in both panels are good, remove the stereo and inspect wiring and the plugins to the stereo. Im fairly certain you will find a secondary fuse blown.
