2006 Saturn vue, 4 cylinder. Ran out of gas, couple gallons put in, ran fine. Went to gas station filled up full. Driving home, noticed my reduced power indicator flashed a few times on then off. Once home, engine idle rough, very rough..and low. Rev'd engine, then idle'd almost died out...did I get dirty gas from those 2 gallons, or **** something from bottom of tank. Now what? I can add bottle of engine cleaner, but wanted to know where my fuel is located on the Saturn, wondering if this is something I could easily replace.

Reduced power , electronic throttle control problem . Reduced Engine Power Mode
When the ECM detects a condition with the TAC system, the ECM may enter a reduced engine power mode. Reduced engine power may cause one or more of the following conditions:
• Acceleration limiting--The ECM will continue to use the accelerator pedal for throttle control; however, the vehicle acceleration is limited.
• Limited throttle mode--The ECM will continue to use the accelerator pedal for throttle control; however, the maximum throttle opening is limited.
• Throttle default mode--The ECM will turn off the throttle actuator motor and the throttle will return to the spring loaded default position.
• Forced idle mode--The ECM will perform the following actions:
- Limit engine speed to idle by positioning the throttle position, or by controlling the fuel and spark if the throttle is turned off.
- Ignore the accelerator pedal input.
• Engine shutdown mode--The ECM will disable fuel and de-energize the throttle actuator.

SOURCE: location of the fuel filter on 2006 saturn vue

I believe the filter is actually a part of the fuel pump module. You have to replace the whole thing. You can contact Saturn parts to verify this.

SOURCE: Bad idle on 2002 Saturn Vue

make sure you have no hoses on the engine that fell off listen for a hissing at idle. If all ok and you checked for codes which should be done before any parts are replaced then the most likely cause is the Idle Air Control Valve. (IAC). IAC's usually wont set a code.

What would cause a a 2006 Saturn Ion Base 2.2L manual to have reduced power and a blinking MIL?

You most likely have a cylinder mis-fire. Usually a bad spark plug or ignition coil/ignition wire. Check the codes to determine what cylinder is causing the misfire and repair a necessary

How much fuel is left when the low fuel light comes on

It varies for every car. Usually 1-1.5 gallons when the low fuel light comes on. I drove my last '93 Ford Taurus around until the gauge said it was empty. Lifted the car and took the gas tank off and it had 3 or more gallons still in it. Here's some fun, zero your odometer, fill the gas tank and drive it until the low fuel light comes on. Then drive it till it dies out, obviously somewhere near home or where someone can drop off a full gas can.

Clutch issues

This is a hydraulic clutch, meaning you push fluid to make the clutch move just like the brakes.
I would check the clutch master cylinder first to see if it is full of fluid.
The master or slave cylinder could have failed, among other things.
Grinding gears means the clutch disk is not moving.

Engine runs rough

soo many mechanical possibilities if you started a frozen motor..do you plug vehicle in with a water heater at night to keep it from freezing where you live?...you'll need to have a compression test to determine if a ring or valve train component didnt break from starting it when frozen..

1993 sentra jerking problems.

I wanted to just give a suggestion...do you go to the same gas station to get gas? My sentra ran horrible because I kept going to this same gas station. My gas would get low and it would start cutting off and trying to cut off. I let my fuel go to almost empty and then went to another gas station to fill up. It hasnt cut of for about 6 months now and I havent returned to that gas station.
