To replace that, you might want to just buy a whole new headrest, pull off the old one by holding the adjusments tabs until it comes out, then take the whole thing to part source and show them, they can get you another one or your dealership, then put it back in the exact opposite way you took it out. problem solved.

SOURCE: Will a rear end out of E350 Ford interchange with a Chevy 3500 dually

Is the c/k 3500 4 wheel drive? If it is 4WD,you must retain the same gear ratios for both front and rear axles,or the transfer case will be damaged. If it is 2 wheel drive, you can install any gear you like.I believe the Ford E350 rear axle is a Dana 70,as i have rebuilt 2 of that model, along with Dana 60's.The Ford unit likely will not be a bolt in.It will probably require professionally welding new mount brackets on the Ford axle housing. The width needs to be measured from inside the brake backing plate to the other brake backing plate to see if it will physically fit.Good luck.

SOURCE: reset oil change indicator 2008 mercedes benz E350

With the key in position 1, hit the odometer reset button on the left on the cluster 3 times in a row. The cluster should beep once. scroll through the multifunction display with the page buttons until the display shows the onboard voltage screen. It will say something like "UB: 12.2 V" scroll threw this menu with with the up/down until you reach the "service menu" page. scroll down to "confirmation" press +, confirm full service with +. Wait till it says service confirmed. cycle the key off and then back on to position 2. Scroll to the normal service menu where it normally says how many days or miles till next service. If the service was reset correctly, it will say "service display not possible" for a few minutes while it recalculates. You must cycle the key off and back on before it will back out of the onboard diagnostic mode. If you dont back out, the esp/abs/bas lights will illuminate when the car is started

I have a E350, 2007 Mercedes can you tell me how to find the fuse for the lights that display the dashboard. Could the fuse be the problem?

The fuses for the illumination of the dash are number 52 and 64 in the engine compartment fuse box. This fusebox is under a cover on the right hand side as you are standing in front of the car looking at the engine. The fuses could definitely be the problem.

Has to do with the headrest deployed in a rear end bump. Sometimes the headrest doesn't deploy, but needs to be looked at.

How do i reset my deployed headrest in my crystler 200 i was rear ended

There is no resetting a deployed airbag. The air bag module must be replaced and the airbag control module will need replacing along with the seatbelt pre-tensioners.

Do you need to change the back head rest if they deploy on a 2007 v w bettle

What deployed? The airbags? You only need to replace the headrest if they are damaged.

How do you reset roll over on vw eos

The previous answers don't understand the question. The EOS rear headrests deploy upward in 0.25 seconds if the car is in a roll-over accident. I don't know the answer on how to reset them, but these guys didn't understand the question. My guess is it cannot be reset, like an air bag deployment it must be replaced. But that's just a guess.

Where is the battery location for E350 2008 mercedes?

most cars have the battery under the bonnet, some modern cars may have a large plastic cover covering them, some mercedes have the battery located in the boot (under carpet etc) and some are located underneath the rear seat base.

Roll bar on clk 320 cabrio

I have a 2005 CLK 320. Roll bars deployed on a bump with the top up. Here's how to fix it: There is a reset port about 12 in below each headrest. The port is hard to find, but you can actually glimpse it with good light and/or a flashlight and some head/neck contortion. When facing forward the port is on the left side of each headrest. The port is oval in shape, about 4mm x 8mm, positioned about 10 mm forward of the support post and about 5mm to its left. Essentially, its an oval hole in black sheet metal. Mercedes mentions an allen key tool included with the car, but you can use a very long screwdriver or, preferably, a metal shishkabob barbecue skewer (by far the best) to reset the mechanism. Slide the tool (skewer, screw driver or allen key) straight down along the side of the headreast and then very carefully angle the tip forward and to the left (of car) to go into the port. Again, you can see this if you try. Push down on the spring under the port and hold down while you push down (Hard) on the headrest to its full reset position. Then remove the tool. Voila!

Before the reset, the top would not go down. After the reset, no problemo. Dennis
