This is a social web site, not an automotive
repair shop or tech line, with access to free info

On the fog lamp assy,I would crawl under a similar
vehicle & see if all you need to do is remove a cover
plate or drill some holes

On the wiring,I think the dealer parts dept will provide
some harness, that should plug in somewhere on yours

SOURCE: 2006 toyota rav 4 fog light bulb replacement

fIRST YOU SEE A RUBBER GASKET SURROUNDING THE HEADLIGHT PLUG IN THE BACK OF THE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY. pULL OFF THE GASKET AND LET IT HANG ON THE SURROUN DING HEADLIGHT WIRES. tHEN PULL OFF THE HEADLIGHT WIRE HARNESS BY GRABBING THE SOCKET (NOT THE WIRES). AROUND THE BULB IS A THIN SILVER HOLDING SPRING THAT LOOSENS BY SQUEEZING THE ENDS TOGETHER AND ROTATING IT. iT WILL LOOSEN AROUND THE HEADLIGHT. WHEN THIS HAPPENS THE HEADLIGHT WILL "FLOP" AROUND AND PULL IT OUT, REMEMBERING TO SEE HOW THE THREE CONNECTORS ARE LOCATED (I.E - IS ONE CONNECTOR AT 12 O CLOCK POSITION AND THE OTHER TWO ARE AT 9 AND 3 OR ARE THEY AT 3,6 AND 9, ETC.). rE-ASSEMBLY IS THE OPPOSITIE. tHE TRICK IS TO GET THE THIN SPRING WIRE BACK IN PLACE. YOU HAVE TO SQUEEZE THE SPRING AND RE-POSITION IT SO IT KEEPS THE BULB SECURLY IN PLACE

Having just changed the bulb, I would advise taking the whole headlight assembly out first. It is near impossible to feel or imagine how to change the bulb without seeing it. First, use a phillips screwdriver to take the single screw holding the strip off just below the headlight assembly. By doing so, you will now see the other two bottom bolts holding the headlight in. Take all four bolts out then disconnect the bulb from behind. Then proceed as above.

The link below is a Typical fog lamp / driving lamp hookup. Keep in mind that in most states, for these lamps to be 'legal' (and thus pass inspection), you must wire them such that:

1. You can cut them off (in other words, there must be a switch installed to turn them off)

and

2. They may only be operated with the low beams. (therefore, you must power your on/off switch from the low beam circuit)

SOURCE: how to install OEM 2007 camry fog light?

Follow the link below to find with picture and step by step instruction to mount the foglights. It's lot easy than connecting the wires.

For me I managed to install the foglights but not sure how to connect to the power and bring the wire to the dashboard. My car didn't come with wiring connections for foglights. Would appreciate if someone can help me with that ( possibly instructions with pictures), Thanks.

What are the lights called below the headlights on a 2005 Rav 4

They are the fog lights. Some would call them driving lights if they don't have a proper fog lamp in there.

I have 2011 toyota camry, and the fog light is turned off, what should I do with it?

Almost certainly you either connected the new light wrongly or it overloaded the circuit, hopefully it has only destroyed a fuse - check the vehicle handbook for details. It is possible one or more black boxes have been destroyed...

It is very bad practice to add any accessories to a modern computerised car where much of the switching is done by a black box and not the dashboard switch.
If it is necessary to fit accessories they should either be official manufacturer approved accessories (supplied by a dealer) with detailed instructions or the accessory should be installed and wired completely separately from the vehicle electrics, starting from the battery with a suitable fuse.

If it is necessary to interfere with the vehicle wiring in any way it should be by an experienced person after referring to the circuit diagram...

Rear fog light not working.2004 toyota rav4

I guess that your refering to the backup lights? They have their own fuse and aren't imune to having the bulbs burnt out. The bulbs are easiest to check as they may be black in color or knocked out of their holders. The back up light switch is part of the neutral start switch and they will have other problems like no start if it's bad. wiring and their plugs are also possible mainly if the car as been in an accident or other bending action.

How do you replace a fog lamp assembly on a 2007 Toyota Rav4?

If you have the replacement fog lamp, examine it's fitting brackets and there's your answer ! Usually 2/3 mounting screws and the alignment adjustment screw. Good luck

I dont know the wiring prossing

I would splice this in to an open fused area on your fuse block since all factory fog lights are on a separate circuit. The kit you bought should have a foglight relay with it also with instructions. If not buy the correct kit for your car instead of butchering up with cheap lamps on it
