Rear lights Hi, Have a rear passenger lights out on VW Polo 2001, the only light working is the indicator. All is fine with the drivers rear side!!  Have tried replacing the bulbs in brake and rear lamp, even taken rear working light from drivers side into passengers side but to no avail. Thanks

not told you at, all does the other 100 things on the car work]?
car drives day and night OKAY>?
heater blower work? heard and felt blow.?
head lamps work on low and high beams?
?
radio works.?
blinker turns signals work.
reverse lamps work.

my guess is car has BCM that is sick.
so we SCAN the PCM/BCM at the OBD2 DLC scan port and it tells me BCM errors.
you said fuses are good but there are vast fuses now on a car even 50 fuses, in engine bay and 1or 2 fuse boxes in the cab.
the glove box users guide answers where they are;.
if battery voltage drops below 10vdc, the BCM will go crazy.
when engine runs the Battery/charge./Gen lamp must not glow,
right? seen in the IP cluster,

More than likely its bulbs .

Check bulbs first by switching same bulb from other side of vehicle

Mine is doing the exact same.

Have two solutions, will try it later today:

1. Unlock with remote tnen lock with key and then unlock with key.
2. Might be a power problem, check that batery is good.

Do you have a users or ownerrs manual for this Honda? if so look in te glossary for rear lamps or tail lamps sub section fuses. probably the passanger side fuse box unless RHD then most likely drivers side

Bad earth connection.Clean or replce wire.

useualy it means that your tuns signal bulb is out on the front or rear

Return the direction indicator stalk to the central rest position to cancel the parking lights.

your multi function switch is bad. hope this help buddy
