I have a 1999 Saturn and I can't seem to figure out why my heat or defrost won't work. I have a hard time driving because the windows keep fogging up even with the defrost on. My back defroster doesn't work either. Also my heat doesn't work at all, I've even left it on for 10 minutes and not a single bit of warmth happened. Please help!
This can be caused by a stuck blend door or a clogged heater core. Can you hear the blend door moving when you turn the temp knob? If not, it may have disconnected from the control panel or blend door. If the door works, remove the heater core and flush it or replace it.

Cat. converter probably pluged. Mine did same today. Mechanic who tow my car said likely cause. I can hear fuel pump running, recent change fuel filter will check fuel pressure. But I will try emissionwiz fit too.

Sounds like your heater core is mostly stopped up. You need to have your cooling system back flushed and cleaned.

First, check your engine coolant level. If it is low, you need to find out why. If the coolant level in the radiator is full, it could be many things including a bad thermostat, a clogged heater core, or a broken or damaged air temperature door or actuator.
