How do I get my 07 Iveco daily to start as I changed all the fuses as I had blown the wiper one and now the immobiliser does not let me start it.

Try starting from scratch, disconnect battery for a few minutes and reconnect, ECU are usually reset and it may clear this default in your immobilizer. FREE-PPV.com

Please advise me proper maintenance for 2007 jeep liberty sport 36000 mile. last service (34000) it was a list of supposed required stuff to do. just want to know what is needed and not. thanks

I don't know how much maintenace you have done in the past. Besides the normal inspections of the brakes, fluid levels and oil changes they do recomend changing the spark plugs and the axle fluid at 30,000 miles and adjusting your parking brake cable. hope this helps....

What service is done at 90kon a 1999 caravan - apparently my mechanic doesn't dooil and filter change -- or tuneup as part of service

you have a cooling system flush and transmission change not flush an filter change the best thing i can tell you is to stop by your local Dodge dealership in the service departmnet and the manger or one of the servicewriters will give you a sheet telling you what service you will need on your van you can also give these websites a try www.alldatadiy.com and www.autozone.com wish you the best of luck Michigan Man.

Transmission service

You say you don't tow anything and you only got 85,000 mi. on the truck i don't think it is neceassery. Just chg.filter and oil and blow out the cooling lines and you should be good to go. I'am not saying its a bad or an expensive procedure i just don't think its neceassery.

Reprogramming blank key iveco daily

Unfortunately there is no solution to this except to take it back to Iveco for reprogramming.

I am led to believe from my locksmith that there are two types of transponders generally put into cars and vans.

The first is a simple chip wtih a code which matches a code in the car / Van

The second is a chip which has a set of codes. They are read in order and the car / van remembers which one was used last. If you use the wrong code in the sequence then the car / van will ignore it and not let you start the engine.

The Iveco is unfortunately in the second group. If, like me, you snap your key, you can superglue a new key to the old and it works fine. The chip doesn't need to be "too" close to the barrel. Yes, it looks ugly, but it's much cheaper!
