I got into my jeep the other day and it was normal until I put the key in the ignition. It made the usual noise when the key was in and the door was open with the dinging noise but as soon as I shut the door it was a steady beep and it continued all the way home. I removed the fuse for that but then all the interior lights stayed on so I removed that fuse. I still have headlights but everything else electrical inside is down because the one fuse leaves the lights on and the other one makes that steady beeping noise. Plus now that those two fuses are out there is a ticking noise that never stops over on the passenger. If anyone knows whats going on or has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciate. Thanks in advance.

I Have the same problem. 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It started off with an intermitent service 4wd switch warning. Now there is a clicking on the passenger side when the doors are opened also the radio pulses when the car is running the warning panel infront of the shifter is dead except for a blink every 3 to 5 seconds. The blinking doesnt get faster with the motor. I pulled all the fuses and reseated them this did nothing. Also Unpluged the hot lead on the battery (to reset the computer) this did nothing. When I turn the consol lights down and turn the headlights on the warning panel starts to work normaly. Something is pulling down the voltage. I am suspiscous of the amplifier under the back seat.
First the alarm would go off when I started my 95 grand cher limited. Then there was problems with some of the interior lights, which were pulsating, then the vehicle information center in the dash started to blink some then start working, there was clicking from the right side of the dash, heat stuck high and cold and no power locks. Does anyone know how to fix this? It's hard to drive my jeep with no heater in Maine this winter due to no windshield defroster. Thanks.
