2000 Honda Odyssey Coin Holder

Is there a way to remove the coin holder?
At times the coin holder has been used as a tray and some papers have slid behind... and I need to retrieve them but can't without removing the coin holder itself. Help. Thanks.

To remove the coin/cup holder located on the dash of a 2000 Honda Odyssey, you need to pull the holder out about 3/4 of the way and insert a thin, but rigid item UNDER the holder at the center, between the holder and the bottom support bar, There is a tab connected to the holder which is protruding down. This tab comes in contact with a metal stop, located on the bottom support bar, preventing the holder from being pulled out too far. This tab is plastic and is flexible, to a point, and needs to be flexed upward about 1/8 inch to clear the stop. The trick is to get the flat object over the bottom support bar, but under the tab on the holder, and then keep the bar stationary while removing the holder. This should take you 30 to 45 seconds to complete, including inserting the bar and removing the tray.1 1/2 inches wide by about 8 inches of flexible, thin plastic works great.

I need to know where the inside fuse box of my 2005 Toyota Matrix is

Should be behind the coin holder by your left knee.
Sorry this photo is not great - your owners manual should have the details.
On most models you have to pull the coin holder down and then remove it, and sometimes there is another panel covering the fuses.
Sometimes it is directly under the dash at the bottom of the knee bolster but in the same general area.

The driver's power window in my 2003 Toyota Camry will not go up----no motor sound or anything. What number/type fuse should I check?

The window/door lock fuse is a 30 amp fuse located behind the the coin box to the upper right corner of the blue relay box, it is hidden by the air conditioning vent tubing. The fuse is not immediately visible when you remove the coin tray, but it IS in the same fuse box. The fuse will be most probably PINK. ---------

Start by removing the coin tray on the left side of the steering wheel. Next remove the socket that the coin tray sits in, it should be fairly apparent how it comes out, there are just a couple screws holding it in that are visible as soon as you remove your coin tray. After you get the coin tray holder out, another couple screws become visible, remove them, along with 2 others on the left side of the steering wheel (we are removing the entire lower dash panel under the steering wheel). The top screw on the left side is hidden under a small pop-out blank cover, the lower screw you will be able to see by simply bending down under the bottom of the dash section. This whole panel should come off as soon as you have all of these screws removed. If it doesn't want to come off, you missed a screw or 2, look harder.

Once this panel is off, look at your fuse box. Now look to the right of the large group of fuses in the main panel, behind the A/C air duct. You should see 3 square fuses, 2 green and one pink. The pink fuse is in the middle between the green ones and is your power window and door lock fuse.--------------
Remove and replace this fuse with new fuse. Its easily available fuse from local auto part store. Its a 30 amp fuse.---------
But if you replace the fuse and still the problem, then its a possibility that window switch is faulty and it has to be replaced.----------- Check the fuse for 12 volt.--- This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

Ciggarette lighter doesnt work and cant find fuse if thats the problem

Remove the coin/change holder from the dash you will find the fuse box there. On the back of the coin holder you will find a fuse diagram showing location and amp # for each fuse. when replacing the fuse be sure to replace it with the same amp#. Should be a 15 amp fuse. First check/replace the fuse. If that doesn't work I would consider replacing the entire cigarette lighter it runs about 12$.
Thanks,
Lee
