2008 Toyota Sienna Questions & Answers
2004 Sienna LE Rear door won't unlatch
Older Sienna door handles have been known to age prematurely, many plastic ones cracked and broke a few years down the line. For the back hatch. a cable is attached to a plastic piece and hooked through the latch handle. That cable might have come off of the plastic piece or the piece had simply broken in two. If you are lucky, you might be able to superglue the plastic piece back such that the cable would pull and open a few times before breaking down again - it is a quick and dirty fix. Get it repaired properly so you do not end up using the sliding door to access the middle row as storage compartment....
Does a 2008 Toyota sienna have a fuse for front washer pump
Yes there are two fuse blocks on the van. One in the engine compartment and the other under lower dash panel fronting driver. Use a circuit light tester to probe the power terminal on the washer pump first to determine if you have power coming there when you turn on rear washer pump switch. You will need another person to help. Rear pumps fail often because of the lack of usage
How to change fuel pump on a 2008 toyota sienna
The fuel pump is inside of the fuel tank. You will need to drop the tank and remove all of the attached hardware like fuel inlet hose, pressure and return lines, and electrical connectors to access the fuel sending unit. It would be a good idea to trouble shoot your issue before assuming it is an expensive part that is not easy to change. I would verify that there is a low fuel pressure condition at the fuel rail first.
The fuel gage is inop, or stuck. Is there a fuse?
No the gage I not fused separately. The problem you have is most likely caused by a defective fuel level sending unit. The part is located inside the fuel tank which must be dropped to replace the parts.
