It's difficult to tell what's going on from your question, your old battery appeared to have failed, so you replaced it? Did you check voltage while it was running? It should be more than 13 VDC, otherwise the battery will discharge, but it's not the fault of the battery, that would indicate a problem with the alternator and/or voltage regulator. There are 3 important voltage readings: running (13+), not running (12+) and while cranking (9+). Are you saying that after replacing the battery everything is dead? I would check the battery cables and terminals, make sure the wire hasn't been stressed or compromised, and that the connectors are shiny-clean. (You can but a terminal cleaner, with wire brushes to clean the fittings both inside and out, for a few dollars.) Also, it's uncommon, but there's no law that says a brand new battery can't be dead.

Replace the fuel filter first. This will take pressure of the fuel pump, make it pump more efficient. Catalytic converters will also cause this kind of problem.

is it turning off? or is it being restrained? turning off is when it seems just as though you turned off the key restrained is , like there were a brake on the engine that just stopped it? if it goes off with a big jerk you may have a stuck valve in the transmission I may be able to help you better with a bit more info

Unfortunately you may have to get a wire harness diagram and check all the computer and sensor connections, that code can be as simple as the MIL lamp being burned out to a brake in the harness or a bad connection at any sensor in the vehicle. if you have any other codes for any other sensors, check the wires to them an all the connections to them, having multiple codes can sometimes help you with your diagnosis.

No, there is not a separate fuse. The window lockout is common to the rear windows. Do they operate from the front and not the back?? Really need that info.

Check your water drain holes. There should be one in each corner. The older Saturns would get blocked and the water would back up. On those you can access the drain tube on either front side at the kick panel. I've not tried to fix an ION so I'm not sure how the drains work. Open the sun roof and pour a little water in each corner. The water should drain out behind the front wheels and somewhere near the rear. If it doesn't you have blockage. Find the drain tube and run a wire through it. Make sure your are careful because you can pierce the rubber tube. Good luck.

This may be two possible issues. If your transmission grinded in the past your transmission may have finally given up the ghost. Also your clutch disk may be broken or worn to the point where you can no longer shift. It seems like the latter your going to have to replace your clutch if your a big on doing it yourself a clutch kit is 400$ at autozone. It may be cheaper online good luck I hope this helps

Lay down your back seats, there is a T shaped ( ivory colored ) plastic piece at the trunks junction pull that, it should open trunk.

Your clutch and brakes run off the same reservoir.

Your clutch pedal attaches directly to the master cyclinder. There is a ball on the end that comes through the firewall. It's made of plastic check that.
