Service engine soon light is on and a flame-like
Since your light is on, you need to take it to Autozone to have it scanned. There are many reasons that can cause a check engine light to come on, so it will need scanned. They will do it for free and they can tell you what is wrong with your car. Other part stores offer similar services.
Have a 2002 saturn sl2
both of those are dobutful but could easily be tested with a scanner. I had similar issues on a 98 that were due to a bad coolant temp sensor and wiring. does the car happen to appear cold via the gauge when it should be warmed up? the crank sensor, ignition module, fuel pump, and fuel filter are also other potential causes along with other things
2002 Saturn SL2 was working
Your owners manual will tell you that the anti-theft can be turned off, but doesn't tell you how (dealer only?). If it is turning over but wont start, (trying to hit and outside temp is below 32) check the coolant temp sensor. Saturns notorious for cracked sensor sending false info to computer thus flooding engine.

The best place to check for this object is to take your car to a garage. If they are not able to find one for you, make them to help you build a substitute for it.
This should work perfectly okay.
Car gets to operting temp
If the car is not running hot or overheating the problem lies in the heating system. If it's overheating also more then likely a bad thermostat
It could be a number of things including the actuator isn't opening the door to allow the heat to enter the car, a pluugged heater hose, check all the fuses
That light on the dash
check coolant level. if its fine was the air bled from the system? if yes then the coolant level sensor has went bad its located on the radiator
I have a 02 Saturn and my clutch is giving me some
You have one of these two things going on....Either the clutch master cylinder is internally bypassing or the clutch itself has gone bad. If you can pump the clutch and sometimes be able to shift, the master is bad. If the clutch pedal feels normal, then I'd suspect the actual clutch disc is worn out.
Your clutch has little to do with shifting with the engine off as nothing is turning and engaging the gears is not a problem. Have an experienced tech take a look at it if in doubt ...should take all of five minutes to determine what's wrong.
I need to relpace a
The fuel pump is in the top of the fuel tank. The part if bought at an auto parts store is a little over $300. I had mine replaced about a year ago. The fuel tank needs to be lowered or dropped for replacing the fuel pump. I had fuel leaking because of a crack in the fuel pump assembly. I did not think I had the tools or the time to safely replace this, so I took it to what used to be a Saturn dealer (they still had Saturn mechanics). They took 4 hours to replace it and charged me $1000.
Engine is heating up.
This is impossible to tell without seeing the vehicle, but check to be sure your sepentine belt is still intact and turning the alternater and the water pump. I've seen these go out b4, and these symptoms seem consistent with the belt not driving it's components, overheating (the water pump not being turned) and lack of electrical poiwer( the alternater not being turned). Good luck and contact me if you are still having problems. We will try our best to help you solve this!
Door locks fluttering from time to time when you
The actuator is causing the fluttering. When they are starting to go out, the locks will flutter. It seems to have more problems in the cold, because the lubrication in the actuator gets thick when it is cold.
I have a 2002 saturn sl2 with a troublecode of
Hello: First things first. If your car has a v/6 engine (3.0 liter) then yes code P0341 applies. The code relates to the camshaft position performance. The sensor is easy to replace, it is on the drivers side at the front of the engine (front of the valve cover) the sensor has one electrical connector and one bolt holds it on. If you have the v/6 engine then after replacing the sensor you will have to have a scan tool to clear the code.
High idle.
you have to link it to a OBD 1st to see where it points to.
