Check the fuse at the driver's knee panel.

I should be in your owners manual, or on the inside of the fuse box cover. If not... you can find it online from many Porsche parts sites.

HAVE YOU LOOKED AT THE COVER INSIDE THE FUSE BOX?

put the car in neutral, pull emergency brake on, and push the top down button. i believe they did away with the manual lock unlock for the roof latch so it should be automatic from there.

If you replace the fuse again and it blows then you have a short somewhere, usually in an accessory you're plugging into it, or in the actual lighter. If it just blew randomly and replacing the fuse fixes the problem then I wouldn't worry about it. Sometimes they blow prematurely.

In answer to replacing the Boxster rear window; Yes, very simple; go to your nearest Mercedes dealership and buy any of their models. Your local junk yard may offer you some money for your Boxster, but I doubt it.
