AGE & MILEAGE...SERVICE HISTORY? COULD BE A THERMOSTAT (FEEL TOP RAD HOSE COMPARED TO LOWER HOSE FOR EQUAL TEMPS...IF LOWER IS COOLER (AFTER 15 MINS OF WARM UP)...THERMOSTAT IS STUCK! ALSO COULD BE PLUGGED RADIATOR, HEATER CORE...ETC.....

Ether shift forks are worn out or it may have a broken brass syncronizer ring broken.

The security, antitheft, or passlock light is a visual indication that something in the car's antitheft system is failing. I don't list a mass air flow meter for your car.If it had one it would be between the air filter and the throttle body.

if the transmission mixing with the water or anti freeze .that mean your radiator is bad and needs to be replaced

pull plugs , clean plugs ,or get some new ones and check if your air filter is dirty and replace it . good starting point .

my 2000 saturn sl blows cold air with the heater on. I changed the thermostat,and checked out my heater core.Still blows cold air.

Sounds like your AIC air idle control. It's attached to your throttle body. If you take off the throttlebody [2 10mm bolts ] you can check and clean the AIC. It comes off the TB with 2 torx screws. When you get it off, clean the plunger with brake cleaner and clean the TB front and back. The back may have carbon build up. Scrape off and spray down. Replace the opposite way. This only takes 30 minutes so its worth the checking. If car still runs rough, spray the brake cleaner directly onto the intake manifold gasket while it's running. If the car changes in idol at all, the gasket is shot. Concentrate on cylinder 1 and 2. This is the area beside the power steering pump. Spray it good while listening. Also spray the vacuum hoses that go up to the intake. If there is any leaks this is the way to find them.. The onlt other thing I can think of is a weak coil, but I think you will find the problem with the brake cleaner. Let me know how you make out. Cheers from Nova Scotia!
