will it stop if you pull the relay out ?

P0113 - Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Circuit Failed High. Go to your local Auto parts and buy that part. That should fix the issue.

my books show some engines as running a separate belt for the power steering I take it that you have a 2000 Saturn sl engine

Code 110 is a problem with the intake air temp circuit or sensor. The sensor could be mounted in the air filter box or hose going to the intake.

Check your CV joint or brake caliper.

check for spark at the coil first for a spark. if ok check for spark on the ignition leads at the spark plug.if ok take off the leads one at a time remove the spark plug .smell it for fuel .if smell found .chnge your spark plugs.

The security, antitheft or lock picture/icon is a visual indication that something in the car's antitheft system is failing. In most GM cars and trucks there is a hidden system that most people are unaware even exists. From the moment you put your key in the ignition, there begins a constant line of communication between your key's security chip or transponder, to the ignition's lock cylinder, and then to the car's TDM (Theft Deterrent Module). These 3 parts are in CONSTANT communication. If the key is in the ignition, then these parts are sending signals to each other. The security light illuminates when that signal gets broken, even just for a second. When the signal breaks, the car misinterprets this as an attempt at theft and goes into antitheft mode. The car thinks its being stolen or hotwired because it is not getting that signal from YOUR specific key. This is why the security light turns on and shuts down your vehicle. Start with removal of the battery and getting it charged overnight and tested. If the battery is good then you have lost your power source to the ignition switch. Check cables for loose/corrosion. Thats where to start

I'm going to suggest one of two things. Firstly, I would say have your alternator looked at. The alternator recharges your battery when the vehicle is running,but if it is on the last leg of it's life, it can actually work too hard and drain your battery, especially during short drives. You may also just check and see if the battery has in fact lost all of it's power. Crazy things happen!

its prolly a small cheap relay switch under the gear shifter

sounds like a easy short ,start at fuses box work ur way towards the front lights

could be a bad head gasket pull the plugs one at a time make sure the valves are closed on the cylinder apply air to the cylinder if the water level in the radiator starts to rise then you have found the bad cylinder

Try pulling the engine coolant temp sensor, They often crack not sure why but the ceramic tip cracks makes the car hard to start, the car's idle may race while shifting gears, and often smokes. The sensor is on the right side of the engine when looking at it on the head. Easy to change and get too
