If your headlight switch is the type you pull out, left of the sterr column on dash, switches tend to go bad, I replaced mine and only had 50,000 miles. try checking headlight relay in engine fuse box first.

I doubt its a short. a short to power would mean something is getting power besides through the fuse and your battery would die. I short to ground would cause the fuse to blow. my guess would be some device that is controlled by this fuse is malfunctioning. if you can try and unplug devices like the radio amplifier and see if the noise is removed. best of luck

1. Tighten all main bearing bolts to 108 Nm (80 ft. lbs.) torque.
2. Install the main bearing cap brace. Tighten nuts to 47 Nm (35 ft. lbs.) .

While it doesn't seem likely, if you've changed, or had the thermostat changed.... I'd say you got a faulty thermostat. I am curious as to what your temperature gauge says the temperature of the engine and coolant is.. If your gauge is showing hot, I can think of two more possibilities... the water pump isn't pumping right... and, if the water pump isn't working right, the problem can be a cracked head or block, which can cause an airlock in the coolant system. Check the coolant or radiator cap.

does it have the 4.0L motor ? if so open the hood stand off to the side where the exhaust bots to the head and have some one rev it up quick if its coming fron under the hood by the engine the exhaust manifol is cracked. The 4.0L jeeps have had lots of problems with this.

I have the same problem. Do not know cause but I remove large red 50 fuse in engine compartment fuse box, wait 15 sec and replace. Lock car and unlock. This seams to reset something and car is fine. This problems seams to appear when my battery is low.(?)

Unless you have a positraction rear differential, I'm surprised that even three are turning! Four wheel drive is really two wheel drive because both differentials are "open" type. In an open diff, only one wheel has power at any given time. With a positraction, or "limited slip" rear diff, both rear wheels push with fairly even force but the outer wheel is allowed to slip when going around turns. Only true four wheelers have either a limited slip on both ends or "locked" units but it is impossible or really difficult to drive anything like that on the street. If you hold the left front wheel from turning unless the locking unit is broken, the right front should turn.

The control for the AC/Heater door isn't working. To have AC the door has to close so that the hot air is not being blown into the car. When this door is closed it allows the cool air to pass through. This is either controled by vacuum or a ele. switch

If you are using standard transmissions they make adapters for the bell housings. For automatic check with a wrecking yard.

Could be the fuel. But check to make sure that the fuel line is not restricted. Hook up a fuel gauge to see what pressure you have. Check to see what the fuel looks like. You may have put in diesel .

The park pawl is worn. That is why it ratchets. Replace the pawl and hope it hasn't worn the transmission case.
