There is no "misfire" sensor.

The computer calculates misfires based on the known RPM of the engine and how long it should take for the crank sensor to produce its signal after a cylinder fires. If it is slower than expected the computer recognizes that the cylinder did not fire and if severe enough finally turns on the check engine light and/or causes it to flash. sounds like an OBD2 comm failure, mine (i have 10) all show comm loss. but.. can be blown fuses killing OBD2 DLC pin 16 (not 12v) also, of your car is newer and the scan tool is older, it can fail. newer scan tools work on all cars here. in usa. all, obd2 1996 and newer. (i build oBD2 gauges and can go endless here... comms...) no Pxxxx code? what scanner?, there are many. some are junk. is this a USA car, when posting nobody knows, in fact, cars up to 2006 world wide, don't have OBD2 ECUs/PCMs. not posting where car was 1st sold , is a failure. if you are in usa, we can access the online FSM and look this up. we use. alldata.com or mitchels. lets back up. (a real scan tool not a funky useless code reader) you, make sure pin 16 is hot. you plug in scan tool (newer) if car has CAN buss? the tool too must be CAN BUSS CERTIFIED.? you key on. not started. you push the scan button, no comm fails, you see TPS throttle angle. and ECT engine temp and air temp and RPM is 0 all that not started enigne yet, if you cant get there, wrong car, wrong tool. if the engine runs, the tool must scan, if not pin 16 dead. or wrong scan tool.

you need the serial number from the radio unit and the navi system (not the screen). If you are the origal owner, that was given to you with the books. the radio code is a 5 digit number and the navi code is a 4 digit number.they may have put a sticker with a 5 digit number on the inside walls of the glove box. if there is a sticker with more that 5 numbers, call you dealer with that number, that may be your serial number. the navi system has 4 digit code

New battery may or may not have been fully charged. When you say, "still don't start", does the engine turn over, but not catch, or does it just click? Or what? "doesn't start" has many different causes and different symptoms.

have you checked the pulley? if you can it is possible to get a larger pulley that will give the power steering more power. Also even before you do this it's a good opportunity to check the belt tension and see if it isn't old and slipping. Personally, I like a bit of a workout when driving. I removed the power steering from my car to save weight and engine power.

Check resistor for blower motor, also could be blower motor or auto controls failing.

Take it to your local mechanic. Check the computer code. It can be a faulty seatbelt sensor switch located on the seatbelt clip or it just needs to get cleared. Takes five minutes. If you take it to an acura dealer, they will charge you upwards of 100.00 to check.

usa comments, other countries diffr. and for sure canada diffr. the tail lights are usually , park and are the largest number of lights on the car, even the dash dim lights are park as are the front park lights so they all out.? these lights work , keys in pocket. via a 120amp fuse , to the tailight relay, the combo set to park energizes said relay and sends 12v to many things via fuse 48 and 49 and runs cab dim and vanity lamps. my online page has rear missing. so get the operators guide, in glove box, read fuse page see tail and park, fuse, 1 will be blown.

you need to get the serial number off of your radio and call the nearest Acura dealer and they will give you the codes.
