Is it possible to adjust a clutch on a 2004 2.5 Chrysler voyager? Only asking as it's less than 2 years old

The clutch is hydraulically activated and it is not adjustable as it is self adjusting, if the pedal is hard or engages way high in the travel or it slips you need a new clutch assembly.

I have just bought a 2007 grand voyager 2.8crd. in

The vehicle DOES have a rev limiter when in P or N. The whistle is the governor allowing air into the intake to detune the engine to linit the revs. The cabin heater light is for the AUX CABIN HEATER. It is diesel powered and will light when operating to maintain the set cabin temp. It has its own exhaust that comes out under the side of the vehicle. It can even run for a few minutes after the vehicle is turned off. That is normal.

Diesel cabin heat assist(webasto)sometimes work and sometimes not, although the temperature is about 2 degrees.I also have a problem with the heating (passenger side blows cold air and the driver side

I find the Diesel Cabin Heater will not operate if you have less than 100-120 miles of fuel left in the tank. Next time it doesn't work look at the miles left in the tank if if it is below this figure then top up and you will probably find it working again.

ERREURPO132 DODGE CARAVAN 3.3 LITRE 2004

This involves the front oxygen sensor on Bank 1. This code indicates that the heated oxygen sensor reading incorrectly You will likely not notice any drivability problems.A code P0132 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
  • The oxygen sensor heater circuit is shorted out
  • The wiring to the sensor is broken / frayed (less likely)
The simplest thing to do is to reset the code and see if it comes back.If the code comes back, the problem is more than likely the front Bank 1 oxygen sensor. You will likely wind up replacing it but you should also consider these possible solutions:
  • Check for wiring problems (shorted, frayed wires)
  • Check the voltage of the oxygen sensor

2004 Chrysler Voyager, had an acrid burning smell and a lot of smoke when heater is turned on, also a rattling/squealing noise, all stops when heater turned off?

you more than likely have a sciezed air con compressor. most modern cars have climate control which uses air con even when demisting and when engaged the electric clutch tries to engage but the pump itself will not turn, clutch will get red hot and burn your belts

Constant black smoke whenever accelerator is used?

Too much gas going through the engine-that's why black smoke. That's all your unburned gas going out the exhaust. Have the fuel pressure tested. A failed pressure regulator will pull extra gas into the engine. Pull off the vacuum hose to the regulator. If any evidence of gas in the hose, the regulator's diaphragm has broken and sucking gas through the hose into intake. If fuel pressure is correct, have a scan done for trouble codes.

How do you get to take out or lay down the back seats of a chryler voyager 2004

Look under the front edge of each seat...there is an adjustment bar to move forward and backward...and there is a similiar release lever that when tilted properly each seat is removable...snapping back into place after removal can be trickier. Hope this helps:)

The engine management light has come on and the car is running lumpy

HelloWhen the service engine soon light (Also called the check engine light or engine management light) is turned on this is to alert you to the fact that Powertrain Control Module (computer) has detected a failure somewhere in the systems it controls you may not feel any difference in the way the engine runs, this can be the transmission or the engine or emission system, there are fault codes set in the modules memory for these faults. What needs to happen now is to have the powertrain control module scanned with a special tool called an OBD2 electronic engine control scanner or a OBD2 code reader. Once the code(s) are read then you must perform the diagnostics for each code and make the appropriate repairs based on the findings of the diagnosis that was performed, this is called doing "Pinpoint" testing.
