When is the last time the fuel filter was changed. You are best to get someone to test the fuel pressure that the rail to determine if you are actually getting proper fuel flow.

Probably wire broken to the lamps or ground has come off perhaps.

best talk wit an accredited auto electrician as some alternators are internal voltage regulated and others are externally regulated it will depend on the alternator you intend tofit

Removal & Installation

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
   
2. Drain the fuel tank.
   
3. Remove the rear lower seat cushion.
   
4. Remove the fuel pump module cover.
   
5. Remove any dirt that has accumulated around the fuel pump module attaching flange to prevent it from entering the tank during service.
   
6. Disconnect the fuel pump electrical connectors.
   
7. Disconnect the fuel pump quick connect coupling from the fuel pump module.
   
8. Disconnect the fuel vapor tube quick connect coupling from the fuel pump module.
   
9. Turn the fuel pump module locking ring using a locking ring removal tool, and remove the locking ring.
   
10. Remove the fuel pump module and disconnect the quick connect fittings from the bottom of the fuel pump.
    

Dirty throttle body or IAC sensor.fuel filter.
