My service stabletrack keeps come on how to fix that
Hi there:Your vehicle is equipped with StabiliTrak, which combines antilock
brake, traction and stability control systems and helps the driver
maintain directional control of the vehicle in most driving conditions.
Traction control activates when the controller senses wheel spin.
StabiliTrak will selectively apply the brakes and reduce engine torque
to help regain traction.
Stability control activates when the controller senses a
discrepancy between your intended path and the direction the vehicle is
travelling. StabiliTrak selectively applies braking pressure at any one
of the vehicle's brakes to help guide the vehicle in the direction which
you are steering.
When you first start your vehicle and begin to drive away, the
system performs several diagnostic checks to insure there are no
problems. You may hear or feel the system working. This is normal and
does not mean there is a problem with your vehicle. If driving
conditions delay system initialization, the STABILITRAK NOT READY
message may be displayed. If this is the case, your vehicle does not
need servicing.
When the StabiliTrak system is both on and actively controlling the
stability of the vehicle, the StabiliTrak light will blink for the
duration of the event.
You may also feel or hear the system working. This is normal.
StabiliTrak will turn off automatically if a problem is detected in
the system. The StabiliTrak light will come on and SERVICE STABILITRAK
will be displayed on the DIC. For vehicles without a DIC, the
StabiliTrak light and the StabiliTrak service light will both come on.
If the SERVICE STABILITRAK message (or StabiliTrak service light) does
not clear itself after restarting the vehicle, you should see your
dealer for service.Hope this helps.
Have no curent to lamp plug
Burned or broken wire somewhere in the harness. Honestly, if you know the SOCKET to be good, the very best approach to repairing that problem is simply to run a 12-gauge wire from the known-good lamp socket wire to the dead socket wire. (Headlights always operate in common anyway, so there is no downside.)
Water in front differential
The water in the front differential is caused by driving through high water. There is a vent at the top that allows for the expansion of oil without building up air pressure. You are going to need to replace the front fluid and repack the bearings to prevent further damage. It is also recommended to install a vent tube to prevent it from happening again. Service stabilitrac in 2009 gmc sierra
This light means that a fault has occurred in the electronics of the system, you must now have the system scanned by the dealer to see what fault codes are stored in the computers memory for the problem that turned on the warning light.
Ticking engine
I would check the oil level. They may have cross threaded the oil filter,or left the drain plug loose or off. I have even heard of some shops forgetting to put oil in at all.
Washer jet on working
hose could be clogged / bent/ broken/ pinched at some point..follow the hose and blow it out with compressed air
Knocking or banging noise
There is really no way to know what the noise is, you must have it inspected and well you have it in the shop have the engine control computer scanned for fault codes, when the CEL is on the system will set a fault code for the problem that turned on the Check Eng. Light.
