My 2003 GMC Envoy XL ran great, a day later it fires up 2 seconds dies over and over. The fuel pressure is 58 psi all fuses good, gauges do not sweep when key is turned on.

Have you cleaned the mass air flow sensor it could also be going out on you. Also is it cranking like a motor with a carburetor on it??

I have a 2003 envoy xl. heat and ac only come out driver side defrost & left vent.No air or heat out of driver or passenger floor .Passenger vent and defrost is cool air only

Air temperature and delivery are controlled via small actuators on the heating, ventilation & air conditioning (HVAC) box located behind the dashboard. These actuators operate doors inside the HVAC box in order to channel air through different passages to achieve the desired result. A "blend" door actuator can channel air through the heater core, around the heater core or a mix of these two to achieve the desired temperature. A "mode" door actuator can direct airflow to the ducts that lead to the defrost vent, front vent, floor vent or a mix between. When a vehicle has dual climate control (where driver and passenger sides of the vehicle can have different air temperatures) there can be multiple of actuators of each type which can make diagnosis difficult. The first step would be to retrieve diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) from the HVAC Control Module using an advanced level scan tool; these codes help determine the location of the issue and if it's an electronic or mechanical failure. Electronic failures would include items such as HVAC control module failure, actuator circuit failure or actuator failure. Mechanical failures would include items such as actuator failure or internal HVAC box door failure. 2003 GMC envoy XL...tail lights work but brake lights will not work is it the brake light switch and how can I test it

ST/LP, Fuse 12, 25 Amp - feeds battery positive to brake switch ORN (orange) and out the WHT (white).

Test with a simple automotive incandescent test lamp to ground. Test lamp should light on both sides of the fuse and with contact to the switch ORN and to WHT while brake depressed.

2003 Envoy liftgate doesn't latch properly

I don't think the piece of rubber has anything to do with the functionality of the latch itself it usually there for keeping the latch quiet like no rattle or metal noise on the road. Hope it helps

2003 GMC full size truck, check engine light stays

Chev is known for injector issues. You may have to remove the intake plenum and change one or 2 of the injectors. You can find them reasonably cheap online. You can test individual injectors with a small square 9 volt battery - never use a 12 volt car battery on electronic components as it's too much amperage.

Front blower motor quit working replaced ignition switch, control module, resister, and blower motor but still doesnt work fuses are all good where do i look next

normally it is the resistor,( relay) then resistor module then motor. did you test the relay(I believe located under hood, relay/fuse center), If OK check plugs and wires for melting, damage and good connection, grounds should also be checked. Use a volt ohm meter to see if you are getting any power ti motor, etc. the first link below gives good how to diagnose blower, press the helpful button GM Blower Motor Resistor Diagnostics by Wells DIagnose and Replace GM blower Control Module http://www.gmcproblems.com/tsbs/Envoy/2003

How expensive of a fix could this be? I had my engine light checked today because my reduced engine light comes on then my car shuts off.

Okay, how expensive could this fix be ? The easy answer would be with a question... how long is a piece of string ? There is really no way to tell... But stick with me and I will try to help you, as well as give you the greatest feeling of all. The ability to fix it yourself. This happens a lot to people who are mostly just drivers, not so much mechanics. The P 1515 code and the P 1516 code are both telling you the throttle positioning sensor isn't in the right place for the way the engine is running. Since it isn't running they most likely are just telling you that exactly... You are giving it gas but it isn't revving up like it should. So don't worry about those two yet...Now the P1345 is the Crankshaft/Camshaft positioning sensors telling they are not quite in line as they should be. This could mean it might need a look at the timing gears or chain or whatever it has to keep the valves and the pistons in tune in order to fire and expend the exhaust correctly. Look at your owners manuel and it will tell you how many miles your vehicle has when it is time to have this service done... But first before you do anything else.... Lets look about the P0014....This could fix the whole problem and if it does we will be done. Go out to your vehicle and CHECK THE OIL.... IF IT IS A QUART OR MORE LOW... THERE IS A SAFE SENSOR THAT CUTS OFF THE ENGINE... IT IS FOR THE PEOPLE TOO BUSY TO PAY ATTENTION TO THE STANDARD MAINTENANCE THAT YOUR MACHINE SO SORELY NEEDS... Try this and don't put more oil in it than it needs. This is almost worse than not enough. To check the oil just pull out the dip stick and wipe it very clean.... Then put it back in all the way, and pull it back out carefully, and notice where the bottome of the stick is wet with oil or dry. It will tell you how low it is. Then put exactly enough oil in it to register full on the dip stick. Hopefully this will conclude our troubles and you can be on your way. Thank you sir and good luck to you. Please let me know if it fixes it. If not we will go to the next step....If it does I will give you some tips and secrets to keep your baby going for a long time @_@ I am watching for you.. expensive-fix-could-engine-light-ugh31kwegkjom5czc2ramjjp-3-0.jpg

My envoy intermittantly starts missing then goes away . Would the fuel pressure regulator be the cause?

First thing I would do is change the fuel filter.

I have a 2003 Envoy and occasionally when I go to start it its turns without starting once I stop and try to start it the second time its starts find. What could be the problem

Sounds like you may need a tune up. It could be a restricted fuel filter or old fouled out spark plugs. The possibilities are huge. Your fuel pump could be weak or you have a bad or leaking injector, but start with the simple stuff first if you haven't done a major tune up in a couple of years, start there. You could also do a fuel pressure test to be sure your system he enough pressure before you spin it over.
