2003 mazda 6 3.0 need the main bearing torque specs

CHECK ENGINE CODE P2187 SAYS

i had the same code, p2187. check to the left of the throttle body(side facing the front of the veh.
there are 2 vaccum hoses going into the intake. the larger one on top has a spring clip holding it and if you look under that you'll see a smaller one with a check valve. mine was disconnected. plugs in under the larger one.

I have a 03 mazda

Have it scanned for fault codes as an indicator of the problem. If the throttle valve is gummed up, cold temps can cause it to stick. But diagnose first!

Complete loss of acceleration

Hi it would not be the mass flow sensor, it would be more like the cam and/or crank sensor, cam sensor gets a lot of heat on it from the engine this can warp the sensor over time and when it cools down its not in line properly. crank is in the oil all the time and gets hot over time it can overheat. if both of the sensors fail as the read engine speed the engine will cut out. then when you restart the engine light will be on but it will be in limp mode. that means that one of the sensors is reading, then when this fails again the engine will cut out.

You have already spent to much money on a good part. Have the codes read. Or have the car diagnosed. You can get cheap, up to date code readers for $50 to $80 at parts stores.

Mazda etude 2002 1600i has a fuel surge, while driving going 100 then goes to 80when it clicks back in and goes again normally. Could this be the fuel pump and where is this t situated?

Anon, The fuel pump will probably be in the fuel tank, if it is gas. No use guessing what is faulty, could be a lot of things. My car keeps over heating

if's it's not leaking water. then your thermostat may be stuck in the closed position and will need replacing. if thermostat is easy to remove you can try removing it and see if it still over heats. also check the water pump, there is a small hole in the housing and if it's leaking water out of the hole then the water pump is bad.
