check your fuse first. if fuse is fine then is probably the horn relay

Do a diagnostic scan instead of guessing.

Take the distributor cap off, crank the engine, see if the rotor turns.
Put it back together.
Remove the center ignition wire from the distributor cap, put the end of the wire within a quarter inch from metal ground, crank the engine, look for a spark.
The engine needs compassion, fuel, and spark to run. Check one thing at a time

I don't. I have spent many hours chasing elusive car noises over the last four decades, mostly with success. Most of those noises were troublesome because they were intermittent and could not be duplicated in the workshop. I think one of the most difficult to trace was the most horrible noisy vibration that would seem to run right through the car sometimes. It was as if some serious mechanical disaster was happening. The cause when I found it (by accident) was a front mudguard that rested on the front indicator lamp instead of having a small clearance between them. When a noise can be duplicated in the workshop by bouncing or rocking, with the aid of a mechanics stethoscope and sensitive fingers, locating the general area of a squeak is a mere formality though pinpointing can take a little longer. Track rod ends and ball joints can cause very loud squeaks as can some of the rubber bushes. Replacing parts in the vague hope of curing a noise is expensive desperation. Unless you gave specific instructions to have those items replaced your money should be refunded. I suggest you change your repairer as any repairer that replaces stuff without prior justification shouldn't be in business.

Only two things:Change engine oil with recommended by the manufacturer depence of the mileage.Of course also oil filter.After that connect service oil pressure gauge to the engine oil truck and check the oil pressure.If OK change oil pressure sensor.

Hi. No this would need to be renewed. I take it you mean the reader coil for the transponder is damaged, as the transponder itself is in the key. If the key transponder is renewed (not the reader coil around the ignition barrel) then the key would need to be coded to the car.

If the battery was disconnected during oil pan replacement then a idle relearn will be needed. drive car for awhile without using accessories (a/c) then return to idle shut car off 10 min then try again. If motor was lifted to remove oil pan check for broken vacuum hoses a large leak can keep engine from idling.

Its the ESP, Electronic Stability Programme. Solid light all the time - Check the system hasn't been turned off (switch near gearlever). If not, proceed with caution to your Volkswagen dealerLight flashing sometimes when driving - This indicates the wheels are spinning and the traction system is trying to control. Reduce acceleration. alot of cars have differant placement for fuses. what you might want to do is read the owners manual or go to vw's website and find out the fuses location then you can replace it

Try removing the throttle pot and cleaning it with carb cleaner this will sort it out as any heavy carbon deposites will cause your problem

one of the 2000 VW electrical gremlins. most likely cause is a bad ignition switch.

thanks for the answer i will sure check mine as well its making quite a nasty popping sound and air noice. i thought timing was not good but was confused still
