As of mid August the ignition was recalled by GM. Go to https://recalls.gm.com/#/ enter your vin and see if it is part of the recall. You may get it replaced for free at the dealership.

I have the same problem with my 03 Vue. I found some people saying that you can install a bcm on your own and by turning the ignition on and off in a certain sequence it will program itself. However I personally am going to take my car to a dealer. You can try to find a shop that has a tech 2 scanner (gm specific scanner), but it's not easy to find.

Are you saying that you are trying to replace the lug stud? The studs are pressed into the spindle that the rotor is mounted to. It is possible to pull the stud thru the spindle by tightening the lug nut, but this is not the proper way to do it. The proper way would be to remove the rotor and the spindle from the vehicle and press the lug stud into the spindle with a press. But I have pulled studs into the spindle when I was broken down on the side of the road with 5 broken studs. You just have to make sure you tighten the nuts until they do not tighten anymore, and check the nuts every day until they do not tighten anymore.

manifold absolute pressure sensor. its on fuel injected vehicles with computers. the computer changes air intake, timing as well as fuel pressure based off of map sensor. so you don't have to adjust anything at higher or lower altitudes and runs at maximum efficiency

Are you getting the proper amount of air? Check the air intake for any obstructions. Try manually operating the throttle see if it will start then. Is the volume of gas sufficient to ignite? Have you tried starting it using ether, etc, see if it will start that way.. Lastly, what actually happens when you try to start it..be precise, the symptoms will give us a good clue as to whats going on.

A few possibilities (in order of probability):

1. One or more tires out of balance (by far, most likely);
2. Bad front suspension or steering component;
3. Worn strut(s); or
4. One or more bad wheel bearings.

hello i have a 1996 nissa altima it will randomly turn of on me but there is no check engine light on what could be the problem?

Have you tried resetting the computer by disconnecting your ground wire alone for 60 seconds then reconect

sounds like an antenna problem to me. It might have come loose from the radio. A car stereo shop or dealer could help on this one.

Have it checked out now or spend a lot more later.
