I would first need to know what a slave is to let you know how to check the fluid. If you are talking about the slave cylinder for the clutch....well then, you should have a small round reservoir located on the firewall near the brace master cylinder.

Hi Judy, I need more info - does the engine make any sound when you try to start it - does it turn over or does nothing happen? If there is a clunking sound from the bottom of the engine then it may be your starter motor is stuck. If this is the case then put the vehicle in gear (make sure you are on a flat/level road surface) and release the hand brake. Rock the car forwards and backwards from the front five or six times and then reapply the hand brake, and after putting it in neutral, try to start it again. If it starts then the starter motor 'Bendix' drive is getting worn or dirty and is in need of a clean or replacement. If there isn't a clunking sound to start with then let me know more detail of what happens when your try to start the engine. Such as any sounds or clicks etc. coming from the car. Steve B UK

Most likely the dimmer relay. Follow headlight wires back to a small box on usually inside passenger side fender. This should be what is called a flip flop relay. This relay receives a momentary pulse from the dimmer switch on the steering column. This relay may be located elsewhere. You may be able to google images for your vehicle and "dimmer relay" you may get lucky and find a picture of it and it's location and perhaps the wiring diagram.

Should have a back to the lamp that can be removed carefully. It should give access to the lamp.

Vibration in which part? If it happens when you are driving its your drive train. Tire may be off balance, bent rim, or broken belt. Could be loose brakes, bad tie rods or ball joints, or bad motor/transmission mount.
If the problem happens when the car is still, its probably the exhaust or heat shield.

it could be either the master cylinder or the slave cylinder,it could also be the clutch pressure plate check the master & slave cylinders first because if it's the pressure plate the gear box will have to be removed to replace the pressure plate, even if you are uncertain it is most likely cheaper to replace the master & slave cylinders than it would be to replace the pressure plate.....hope this helps......cheers.

I believe it is next to the OnStar module under the passenger rear seat. Depends on the model year though. Can you update with more/actual information about your car?

Well.... I think the obvious answer is there is a leak.... More specifically, you could have a failed gasket or damaged engine component. Without more information about your vehicle, engine, and about where the oil is coming from, I cannot give you a better idea.

I have the same problem, Noticing that my 2006 Saturn Vue, 5-speed becomes extremely hard to shift gears when the weather is cold. (Temps range from 20-43). Has been colder in the last month. What could this be?

also side note:
Our windshield wiper spray doesn't work on front window but work on back. They both started about the same time when the temps dropped to single digits. Dont know if that had any causes.

I have had 4 saturns. every unhappy saturn owner i ever met, and that was lots of them, always had automatic transmissions. every happy saturn owner i knew, including me, always had manual transmissions. given that there are no more dealers, and no more experienced saturn mechanics; if you can, do yourself a favor and get a manual. I passed off my last saturn to a girlfriend and let me tell you when you take one to a GM dealer they look at it as though it were a spaceship.

There is no other release for the door. The key fob is all there is. GM has a bulliten on the issue and your dealer will have to fix it. The bulliten number is PIT4436. Give the dealer this number and they can look it up and repair it. Good Luck

theres not a lot of things that can do that , tie rod ends , I know you said front end shakes, does steering wheel shake too, looseness in rack .
