2008 Chevy Uplander base van. How to fix (unstick valve) on it, error code P2070 open valve.

Question edited for clarity. Question moved to model category. It is the intake manifold tuning valve that is stuck and fortunately not the Inlet valve itself. https://www.google.com/search?q=2008+Chevy+Uplander+P2070 //

I can't get the air

Valve stems typically cost anywhere from $.59 to $2.00 to $3.00 a piece depending on where you go.

Sears would probably charge about $2 or $3 for a valve stem in one tire.

My 08 Chevy Uplander turn signals, break lights, and hazards will not blink. I have power on one wire at the bulb, and ground on one wire, the third wire has no power going to it.

Sounds like you've got two different problems, because the brake lights and turn signals are on different circuits. 1. Brake lights. These should work whether the engine is on or off. Check fuse box for a blown fuse. If OK, check for voltage at one of the lights with the brake pedal depressed. If no voltage, brake light switch under dash probably bad. Fairly easy replacement. 2. Flashers/turn signals. The flashers should work with the engine on or off. If they don't, might be a bad fuse. If that doesn't fix it, might be a problem with the wiring connected to the turn signal switch, or the switch itself.

My 2008 Chevy uplands has a dead battery'..I just replaced it bcuz the other had died. Now this one is dead. What could be the issue?

A blown fuse does not create a draw, it makes an open circuit. You need to do some trouble shooting to find the source of the draw. An alternator can be a source of a power draw, or a light left on such as a map light or vanity light.

Why can't we get parking brake to release?

Most likely there is an issue with the parking brake cable. Replacing the cable shouldn't be too expensive.

How do I take my antenna off my 2008 uplander

Don't take it off. That is the best thing you can do. I used to work for an auto glass company and every time we tried to remove GM antenna's they would break. If you absolutely need to remove it then remove the whole assembly. Base and all.

2008 uplander ABS warning messages

Check your wheel speed sensors for proper operation and for metallic debris, make sure your reluctor ring is in working order and not damaged, if all that appears to be in order, then check it with a diagnostic computer. usually it is a failed WSS (wheel speed sensor) if it is part of a wheel bearing assembly then it is possible you have a failed or failing wheel bearing

Where is the idle air control 2008 Uplander 3900

Your engine has an electronic throttle body. They don't use an idle air control valve. They control idle by cracking open the throttle plate electronically. If you have idle problems, chances are you've got carbon buildup around the throttle plate. Here's how to clean it. http://ricksfreeautorepairadvice.com/clean-an-electronic-throttle-body

How do you turn off the trackion control on a 2008 Uplander

the only way to turn off the traction control is to remove the fuse for it in your fuse panel. if the light is on that is usually a sign that you have a bad abs wheel speed sensor. and it just needs replaced. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cX0FsAzuuic

Some times the trans in my 2008 up lander seems to slip when taking off in first gearand then it will go all day and shift fine. Now all of a sudden my trans is shifting kinda hard through all gears.

Check the fuse block for a blown fuse. There may be a solenoid inside the transmission that finally gave up. Look for poor electrical connections on the wire harness at the transmission and finally, the transmission control module may have failed.

Reduced engine power, traction control lights are on

No recall . Reduced engine power is caused by a problem with the electronic throttle control . Having the vehicle checked for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes would point you in a diagnostic direction . Viewing videos on how the system works an testing would help . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z34r2Fra7ig&t=806s

Thermostat housing on a 2008 chevy uplander 3.9 liter

This repair is tedious. You will find the thermostat housing located directly below the throttle body. It is tightly set between the engine block and exhaust crossover pipe. There are two bolts holding the housing in place. The lower housing bolt is the hardest one to remove so remove that one first. Any questions please write back. Good Luck.
