You have two computers, the ECM and BCM, plus the alarm module and a number of sensors protecting the vehicle from theft and unauthorized removal. You can't trick them because you can't reprogram them. Either do a security system reset or find an auto electrician or locksmith / alarm installer. 1. Insert the key into the driver's side door lock.
2. Turn the key once, but not all the way to unlock the door. Leave the key in this position for 40-60 seconds. ...
3. Do this again, but turn the key in the opposite direction.
4. Remove the key from the door, get into your Ford, and start the engine. The system should be reset.

Diodes? I don't think so. Its usually a LC network. Are you sure they are diodes? If so I can check my service manual schematic.

You need to perform an OBDII scan due to your cars age. Get a print out of fault history. Let that be your guide to any parts replacement. First off is it manual or automatic climate control ? Single zone or duel zone ? It's probably the front blower motor speed control ! electronics .

if ur plug is for the purpose of tune up and u have established this problem u need to make sure u have the correct plug and gap the plug correctly make sure all ur plugs gaps r measured equally the same. if ur plug replacement for other purposes u need to state the fact behind why u have replaced ur plugs. Locate the pipes and check if they are rubber hoses or metal pipes,tool needed will probably be pipe spanners.
