Low beam headlights not coming on.
a common problem on these cars is a wire breaking off the combination indicator/dip switch. remove the steering column cowlings and check that first, it can be repaired by resoldering if thats ok check the dip beam relay and wiring etc.hope that helps.
Have no radio,c d player, navi and a/c blows on auto only no light in display
A/C sounds like an issue with the a/c module which is unusual. There used to be a test sequence on the earlier a/c units not sure if it is on the 4.2. Check all fuses there are four fuse boxes. one at the end of the dash by the door and two under the bonnet. the radio/cd player etc is all one unit (medIa unit), that would explain why they all are not working. I think the a/c fault is connected to the media unit but not sure how. Need to study the wiring diagram for this, I take that it is a 4.2. Jaguar diagnostics will show the fault or give a lot more guidance. Generic scanners wont pick up the fault codes for things like this they are manufacturer specific. That's how manufacturers lighten your wallet. website jagrepair has all the electrical diagrams free.
What causes the RPM needle to fluctuate when gas pedal is pressed?
Hi Antonio ,
What is the real problem ? are you getting RPM needle fluctuation while driving or the the engine light that came up after that minor engine service ?
As I understand you are having fluctuating RPM after that minor engine tune up. If there is no sound than it could be a problem of throttle body.
WHY PARKING BREAK DEFAULT LIGHT 2004 XJ8 ?
if the park brake warning is on and the park brake is inop. there are several common problems with this system, the most likely causes are 1 the rear brake caliper sliders are part siezed or the pads siezed in the caliper frame 2 the wiring to the park brake motor open circuit or rubbed through on the rear subframe.3 the park brake motor has failed, you really needto get the fault codes out of the park brake module if the above checks out ok the above faults i have found to be the cause 9 out of 10 times. hope this helps.
Air suspension default line
unusual for only one corner to be out, the common problems are, air leaks, between valve block and suspension unit, ride level sensors, normally the clamp on the suspension corrodes and allows the sensor to float,it sounds like a air leak on that corner to me. you can buy a leak detection spray to help find the leak. the pump is also troublesome. located front bumper liner lh, but that would affect the whole system, I would check the plastic pipe is ok from the valve block to the suspension unit first, then get the fault codes out of the air suspension module, the valve block is in the boot spare wheel well. hope this helps.
